Every single thing we do in life is used as a distraction from the terror of our helplessness and insignificance. I think of all of our activities as "magazines" that you peruse in the "waiting room of death", waiting for our names to be called.

The only thing in my estimation that seems to indicate a higher purpose, the only inexplicable, magical phenomenon that transcends everything else is real Love. So I'd say that in our ignorance, Love is al that matters.

Here's a life philosophy. Find your own f'king life philosophy, and stick to it. There isn't any one "right" life philosophy, if you're trying to find one that isn't your own, you're wasting time. And the love I have for my Dad and best male friends, and for people I don't even know personally has NOTHING to do with procreation.
