Not to dwell on more bad news but supposley there is a huge Snowstorm heading for where WWE is doing Raw on Monday in Hartford.

I'm a couple hours away and I'm not to happy about working tomorrow night. I'm guessing a lot of them could be stuck until Wednesday.

WWE has hurt Roman without seeing it. He's never going to be an elite top face if they continue to go the route they are going.

I'd be seriously pissed if I was in Roman's shoes. Hopefully they have something great for Bryan so that people will be distracted from this.

thanks.

but......7 minutes??!! wtf??!! :cmad:

I think he was in it from 10 to 16 and I think I was overselling it with him being in there for 7 minutes, but yeah he wasn't even in the match that long. You could feel and hear the energy die down from the crowd when that happened.

I forgot the Rumble was tonight. It seems that it was a massive fail judging from you all's reactions and seeing #cancel WWE Network trending worldwide on Twitter. I like Regins , but I am not a fan of him winning the rumble. I think even his cousin Dwayne AKA The Rock knows this wasn't a good idea given his expression during the end with the boos. WWE creative AKA Vince or Triple H are gonna piss fans off to the point where people don't even show up for live events like Raw, Smackdown, PPV's or house shows. They are in an even worse postion than they were last year. Which by the way they learned nothing from that whole ordeal. Fans are sick of the old booking and lame storylines they push out. Give the real talented guys like Rollins, Ziggler, Ambrose, Bryan, Waytt, Rusev, Cesaro etc their due.

Honestly, if there isn't a massive boycotting by fans similar to last year, this years Wrestlemania and the WWE product as a whole is gonna be TRASH. So far, the only match at this years WM is Sting's but it's sad he has to face Hunter who is in my opinion overrated as a performer. This is a new low point for WWE and they way Bryan, Ambrose, Wyatt got eliminated like faceless jobbers was insulting. I am pissed and I refuse to sign up for a long term commitment to WWE Network. Hell, I am not even sure if I am even gonna watch WM this year since I am not even excited for it at this point. WWE needs to change things ASAP or risk losing a ton of fans!

When Bryan was discarded from the match, he gave an "I'm such a failure" look on camera. He lost on Raw last week as well. I fully expect him to wrestle at Mania, and they will make a half-hearted attempt to make the match feel semi-important, but he won't be in one of the money matches.

I was thinking about this as well. I live a half hour north of Hartford, but I'm not going down there in a snowstorm. It should be interesting to see the turnout that they get.

Likewise, they are supposed to tape Smackdown on Tuesday in Boston, which is supposed to be buried under a couple of feet of snow at that time.

#CancelWWENetwork is trending at the top internationally on Twitter after the Royal Rumble PPV. That is not a good thing.

Also, after getting numerous emails from people saying that they couldn't get the WWE Network page to load so that they could cancel their account, for the last hour plus when I tried to load the page and check it out it just spins and never loads.
Andru Edwards saw posts on social media that said that if you called in to cancel they are telling you that they can't manually cancel right now due to so many people attempting to do so, and to call back tomorrow. He called the number and was told that as well.

Obviously people are very angry at how the Rumble match was booked, which is a real shame given how great the show was going before they chose to eliminate Daniel Bryan. They never got the crowd back after that and obviously many at home felt the same way.

In hindsight, bringing Bryan back for the show was a big mistake by WWE. It is one they had better rectify. To make matters worse, with the snowstorm heading up the east coast tomorrow, their TV tapings for Raw in Hartford, CT and Boston, MA are anything but a sure thing.

This isn't how they wanted to start the Road To WrestleMania. For the second year in a row, the Rumble has blown up in the company's face.

Am I the only one who finds this all to be hilarious? They basically did the same thing 2 years in a row and got pretty much the same reaction. It's like they're saying maybe it will work this time.

Exactly what I thought. Idiots.

This is the second year in a row where the winner of the Rumble is one the crowd didn't like, and both times the guy was a face.

WWE are either the stupidest or most arrogant company in all of entertainment, to make the mistake once was bad enough, but to do it two years in a row?

It's like a restaurant that gives you the menu then demands you order what they want you to order, no such restaurant exists of course because that's not how seller/consumer business works! "The customer is always right" is not a decades old phrase for no reason.

Glad I saved my money and tomorrow I can save 3 hours of my time as I return to only watching NXT.

What Vince doesn't understand is the internet, and how word gets around FAST. It's not the 80's or the 90's anymore.

To be fair to McMahon, tonight's fiasco is mainly to blame on Helmsley. The Hound Of Justice's push is his doing. The finish did not make Roman Reigns look strong.

This is probably how Roman was really feeling inside from hearing the crowd's reaction....

Such a shame that the Rumble Match and its ending of this show overshadow the classic WWE World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat, which I honestly think is one of the best WWE matches ever, at least of the 2000s.

I hope this is a turning point. I feel like these next few months will be rough enough for Vince and Haith to finally start listening to what the fans want, rather than constantly feeding us what THEY want.

The days of kayfabe (as Vince remembers it) is dead. They can no longer manufacture and feed us who they want to be at the top of the company. It's time to evolve and start pushing who fans are reacting to the best, and displays the best talent.

Roman Reigns is neither of those. And there is a long list of stars who are both.

I suspect they may try a Bryan vs Orton feud for Wrestlemania. Perhaps working in something about Bryan not beating him from the previous year.

The PPV was a total disaster with regard to moving forward. This may well turn out to be their "finger poke of doom" moment if they don't proceed carefully. I'm not just talking about how they handled Reigns, but the entire booking of the rumble match was a total shambles. Bring back Patterson!

I sincerely hope there's a lot of upset and angry people behind the scenes flapping about, attempting to recover from this mess. I also hope a bunch of cancelled network subscriptions hit them where it really hurts so they learn the lesson that obviously didn't hit home last time they tried forcing a winner down our throat.

I'm still hoping they fix this and we somehow still get Bryan vs Brock. If not then they can kiss the audience goodbye. This is actually worse than last year.

I'll stick keep the network but it's going to be for watching old ppvs and nxt.

My reaction to WWE not learning from previous mistakes:

D-Bryan-laugh.gif

the trend of Cancel the network sure as hell won't be shown in the "Did you know?" graphic WWE puts up every Raw

I'm loving some of the people defending this too. "Oh you can't have Bryan every year". Okay, first off Bryan has never won the royal rumble, and secondly, really? This is the same company where Hulk Hogan main evented the first 8 wrestlemanias (9 if you want to count the yokozuna thing). Stone Cold won 3 royal rumbles and main event WM 14, 15, 17 (which was three in a row for him actively). The Rock main evented three years in a row once as well as Cena and both main evented 5 times each I believe. So you're really gonna tell me that I am out of order for wanting the most popular guy in the company to win the royal rumble for the first time and main event WM for the second year in a row. Isn't that how it used to be?

Wouldn't it be great if Bryan walked? CM Punk recently named Bryan as someone who could make it in the UFC. It's not too late Bryan. Both Punk and Bryan walking would be a severe blowto the WWE.

There's like this invisible brick wall for guys like Bryan, Ambrose, Ziggler and the other guys. Even with Rollins, i'm just scared that they'll just drop him eventually and he'll end up being a low mid-carter in the future.

It's getting bad.

But they can't keep on doing stuff like this, only to retract. Shouldn't they be smarter than this?
