What movie has made you cry

Schindler's List- couldn't believe people could be that inhuman to one another.

La Bamba- saddest ending to a biopic i've seen

iron giant, every time.

if you don't cry when that big metal man says "superman" at the end, ,then you're probably dead inside.

La Bamba and Selena- very sad biopics. Selena always get me. Mostly because I get so mad/driven to tears that the woman murdered that girl . Shot her in the back when she was leaving.

Iron Giant- "Superman". Aww, when he said that it just did me in.

House of Sand and Fog- this has got to be one of the most depressing movie I have ever seen and yet I always watch it when it comes on.

I saw that movie in high school and got in trouble because I laughed out loud at the part where his wife says something like, "If you want me to stay all you have to do is ask..." and the next scene is him putting her @ss on a train. My teacher came around and told me we'd talk about how to be sensative to the plights of others....

because of that, I hate that movie to this day.

I think the one thing that gets me is having to say bye to a family member, pet, or friends...

Most notably these films:

My cat died my first year away from college, afraid to watch the film again- because having gone through something similar... would probably be more emotional.

The end of the film got to me... once, again the loss of a 'pet'.

Both deal with a father and son story with the same ending, the father dies just as the son finally gets to know and bond with his father.

Another father and son movie.

Also, on a side note, if you actually want to see Hayden Christenson as an actor- watch THIS film. Not Star Wars.

There are others, but those are the main ones I can think of at the moment. But, the list goes on... so what makes me cry: some father & son movies, the loss of someone, something or some ideal place that represents leaving home and comfort.

Well, I shed a few tears for the movie 'Patriot' the mel gibson movie. I think it was the scene towards end when he and his older son were about to leave. The little girl who never talked to him started balling, and crying as he was walking away..Im a sucker for little kids crying...
Then I shed a few tears of laughter from a scene from Happy Gilmore(scene where girl was talking to owner of pga tour in his office, while on tv u could hear Gilmore cussing, while beeing bleeped out, that killed me).
I also shed a tear of laughter from a scene from Bruce Almighty; news caster scene where he made stephan carrol do all those weird noises, that also had me rollin so hard I cried..

Then I'm sure I shed a few tears of agony from movies that sux'd really bad,and I cried asking myself why did I go see that movie :)

I shed a tear during that scene as well, I'm oh so manly :o

Lol. That's a cliche dude. Reality- guys cry, albiet less than women. We're not made of solid stone. So, personally- find it be more manly and mature to admit that something did make you cry. Just because guys cry doesn't make them any less manly, just makes them human.

I'd like to add the ending of Bicentennial Man.

Yeah, I think I shed a tear or two at the end of Last Samurai.

When I was a little tike I can now remember crying the first time I watched ET.

I've always gotten a little choked up at the end of T2.

The trailer for Rob Zombies Halloween remake made me cry, does that count?

i am sam
North Country (the rape scene is one of the saddest things I've ever seen :csad: )
Edward Scissorhands
Forest Gump
Titanic (I seriously don't think the movies that bad btw...but its record has to be broken imo)
Imitation of life
Passion of Christ
Hulk (what?... :( );
Children of Men
Pan's Labrynith

theres been a lot more, I just can remember now. I guess I can be kind of emotional sometimes, honestly I dont care...its okay to cry sometimes (and there is nothing unmanly about it, in my opinion :o )
