To go along with the favorite Marvel villains thread. Is there a specific moment that you consider it to be the most evil thing a Marvel villain has done? It's most likely very subjective as people will have different definitions of what they consider evil, so I am curious as there is no real right answer.

It might be because I am still on the Avengers high, but I would say Loki killing Coulson simply because of the way Loki did it. Doesn't say anything, there was no banter, it wasn't glorified. He doesn't even attempt to fight him. He tricks him with an illusion, stabs him in the back and walks away smiling. It was such a punk, pathetic way to kill someone who has you cornered. It was an incredibly Loki thing to do :yay:.

I'll give you my answer as soon as Thanos makes his first real appearance in the MCU. ;)

There are many movies so i probably forgot many.. but Decon Frost.

He killed Blade's mom, turned her into vampire, responsible for Blade's creation, made his mother his ****,made her try to kill his son Blade, killed "pure blood" vampires council, threw a child into a bus, tortured Blade's sidekick & father figure Whistler to death and last but not least became a God.

Just smiling at the concept of death in The Avengers could win this contest for Thanos.

Otherwise my answer is Loki's eye mutilation scene from the same movie. Also, apparently he killed 80 people in 2 days?

    It's a tie for me:
La Bacon killing Magneto's mother was pretty intense, butObi forging and selling WOMD to the highest bidder is probably the most evil thing one can do

GG throwing Mary Jane and bunch of kids after "why villains have more advantages than heroes" speech.

That might not be most evil but almost definition of a villain.

I think most of that was exploding Project PEGASUS. Not everyone got out alive.

X2. Stryker attempting to kill all mutants with Xavier, and Magneto reversing Stryker's Cerebro to kill all humans.

    No contest.

I'd say Howard Saint having Frank Castle's entire family killed is a distant second.

Hmm. The way Fox screwed up the X-Men franchise (Cyclops in particular) was pretty evil...

I like this, but I am curious about a specific act by the character which you consider to be the most evil. I don't want to know which villain you consider the most evil. So which of these items you've listed do you consider the most evil, and why?

I'd think destroying an entire city and killing off the main hero.

Making hero's mother his ****, that's low blow even for a villain.

A lot of the most evil acts don't happen, making them seem less evil in some way. Stryker attempting genocide against a chunk of Earth's population should win, but it's trumped by Magneto doing the same thing against an even larger chunk of earth's populace, by outwitting/using the good guys who were trying to stop Stryker. Lots of singularly reprehensible acts, but nothing as devastating as that has been attempted yet.

The on that shocked me the most has got to be Shaw shooting Eric's mom. The way that was depicted in the movie, how we see Eric's face as he focuses on the coin, and we see his mother in the back. Then Shaw softly counting to three and shooting without hesitating, and then we see Eric's face changing when he knows what just happened. That was a beautiful moment showing such a cruel act.

Also I liked how we finally saw one of the good guys killing the man he always wanted to kill even though his friend told him not to. I find it often being a let down watching a movie about a guy who wants to kill another guy, only to let him go at the end. Way to go, Eric !

Stane's betrayal of Tony. Sure he didn't want to conquer the world or blow it up or whatever but there's something so inherently sinister, evil and distasteful about betrayal of a friend that is despicable.

Maybe it wasn't his intention, but his actions probably would've led to nuclear war or something of the like had he succeeded.

Way to ruin it for everyone else. You may as well tell everyone Bruce Willis is a ghost!

    Seriously though, GREAT choice.

I'm going to put some thought into this....

That's a good answer, but I'm thinking something a little simpler and more specific..... X-Men Origins Wolverine.

Magneto sending back the missiles at the fleets in FC. Sure they fired first but he didn't have to send them back. You could tell in his eyes he felt no remorse killing all those men and effectivly declaring war on humans.
