Does anyone remember a TV show where 3 kids came on and one of them put on this blacked out helmet so her couldn't see and the other two kids had to guide him around this computerised world and if the kid got 'killed' they lost... And it had some guy with a gray beard who was like the host? I don't know if it was a british show or an american import but I always wanted to go on that show...

You're thinking of Knightmare and that show was indeed excellent. Treguard was the Dungeon Master and every week a group of kids would be questing for either a cup, sword or shield. I was talking with some friends about it recently and how much they could do with it using modern CGI and green screen tecniques. If you live in the UK and have cable of satellite you can catch repeats (reruns) of it on Challenge TV.
