Transformers What the heck happened to Barricade?

Ok, so he's on the freeway, and moving right along with the other decepticons, and then he's completely forgotten about, and not in the final fight scene. What gives? I understand he had his fight scene with bumblebee, but to completely ignore him at the end was kind of lame. I understand Starscream getting away at the end, but technically barricade is somewhere on earth just chillin'. Just never sat right with me they didn't put him in the final fight scene.
