I thought I'd revise my list since new trailers have come out since I first posted.

I'm especially looking forward to next year, there are going to be a lot of good movies coming out.

Thor: Ragnarok Still looking forward to this one!

Pacific Rim: Uprising Following up on what I said on the first page, my hype certainly did get boosted by that first trailer. It went from being something I didn't really care much about to easily one of my most anticipated movies.

Black Panther That last trailer looked awesome, I can't wait to see more of the this movie's world.

Infinity War I'm curious to see how the storyline will play out.

Transformers: Universe Bumblebee This movie could easily shoot to #1 or 2 on the list, but I'm going to hold a certain amount of skepticism until I at least see a trailer (this is still Paramount after all). The current release date also isn't helping.

Solo: A Star Wars Story I didn't put this on my list the first time around, but a lot of the stuff that Ron Howard has put out has got me somewhat interested to see this movie. He seems like a genuine guy who's trying to make a good film.

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi The last trailer got me a little more excited, now it at least has a solid spot on this list.

Godzilla: King of Monsters Still just as excited as ever for this one, but I decided to put it lower since it's still a ways from coming out.

Honorable mentions:

Ant-Man 2
Incredibles 2
Wreck it Ralph 2
WB's Jungle Book

Post-BR49.

Excited:
1. The Last Jedi. The recent trailer was pretty damn intriguing.
2. Infinity War. Obviously.
3. The New Mutants.
4. Aquaman. I need more films that feature underwater worlds.

Curious:
1. Justice League.
2. Deadpool 2.
3. Black Panther
4. The Incredibles 2.
5. Ant-Man and the Wasp.

2017

Justice League

2018

Halloween
Aquaman

Other than that there are films I want to see but as far as looking forward to these are the only ones exciting me.

For the remainder of 2017:

Call Me By Your Name
Darkest Hour
Justice League
Lady Bird
Phantom Thread
Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi
The Florida Project
The Post
The Shape of Water
Thor: Ragnarok
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

I am borderline obsessed with Darkest Hour. It's a real problem. I check Working Title's Twitter page every day for updates. I legitimately cannot wait to see Gary Oldman take on Churchill.

Darkest Hour
War for the Planet of the Apes
Dunkirk
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
It
Blade Runner 2049
Justice League
The Shape of Water
Thor: Ragnarok
Spider-Man: Homecoming
The Snowman

I hope Darkest Hour lives up to your expectations.
Have you seen Snowman?
do you agree with the critics?

The Strangers: Prey at Night.

It'll almost be 10 years since the first one released but, there has been no horror film to this day that has topped that theater experience. While no one from the original film is returning, the original writer penned this story. It sounds to have a lot of promise and I'm hoping it's able to surpass the brilliance, in my opinion, of the original.

From the cast and crew who have worked on this film, they say it is WAY more intense than the first...that pleases me. haha

Until the end of 2017:

Thor: Ragnarok - looks like another Marvel win and both visually and tonally different than previous Thor films.

Murder on the Orient Express - really excited to see what the plot twist is.

Justice League - one can hope that DC will pull a WW and not a BvS/SS. Trailers don't hype me too much, but looks like a fun flick.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - nothing to say here. This will be the king of 2017.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Part 2

Can't wait to return to the Wizarding World!

Found this old, disregarded thread and thought I'd try to revive it. Now that we're, hopefully, coming out of COVID, a lot more movies are coming out and I wonder what movies you are looking forward to seeing (theater or home is fine).

I'm interested in

The Batman
SM:NWH
House of Gucci (yeah, I know it's out, but I haven't seen it. I was going to go last Tuesday, but it's 2h 44m and I didn't really have time so I went to see Ghostbusters).

Oh yeah.....Matrix

In alphabetical:

Crimes of the Future
Disappointment Blvd.
Dune: Part 2
Killers of the Flower Moon
Men
Nosferatu
The Batman
The Killer
The Northman
The Tragedy of Macbeth
