What villains would you like to see?

Agreed. Also, I'd like to see how they'd do Bizarro in this cinematic universe.

I'd like to see him at some point but there are other villains (Brainiac, Mettallo, Parasite) I'd like to see before

Metallo and Lex would be a nice contained superman story. i think when you go alien you have to spend more time explaining them.

ideally there would be references to Brainiac in the MOS sequel that leads to him in the next movie, whether that be another supes movie or JL2.

I was looking forward to Brainiac but if they do go more "Earth-bound' then Metallo and Lex could be good. Also Parasite and Lex. The "ordinary guy" with Lex could be a good way to develop character and to show Metropolis.

I do want the movie to explore different parts of Metropolis as well, such as Suicide Slum and Ace O' Clubs with Bibbo.

Bruno Mannheim and Intergang could be interesting as well.

I do really want to see Brainiac onscreen though.

I actually think you can do Parasite and Mettallo in the same story and still have Lex and it wouldn't feel over crowded.

Bringing up Sense8 and the Wachowskis in the directors thread gave me an idea...

The Dominators

The Secret to Superhero TV
With four successful shows, veteran showrunner Greg Berlanti has found a way to make DC’s heroes succeed on the small screen.
Abraham Riesman said:
To what extent are the comics R&D for the TV and movie properties? Does DC Comics president Geoff Johns come to you and say, “Hey, here’s something we tried out in a comic. Let’s try it here”?

Sometimes, or he has other executives mention that to us. They said to us a year and a half before they started developing Suicide Squad, “Will you guys put [a version of] the Suicide Squad in your show? Because we want to have it as a film at some point.” It also happened with Geoff when Geoff and Andrew [Kreisberg] and I were creating Flash. They were both really huge fans of Cisco Ramon, [also known as] Vibe,18 and had written a Vibe comic [in 2013] to try and bring him back. They said, “Could we please have Vibe on the show?”

Man of Steel 2- Brainiac and Bizarro as the main villains

Brainiac, Bizarro and Lobo are 3 I'd like to see if I had to choose, but there are many villains in the Superman rogue's list that would work with a killer creative crew.

I'd still really love to see Mongul but it'd be sweet to see how they'd handle Bizarro as well. Brainiac is an obvious choice because he's such a badass villain.

Never been a huge Lobo fan but I wouldn't be totally against seeing him being incorporated.

Wraith is a character that I would not mind seeing, but it is unlikely they will use him.

I said Mongul on the very page above, I think he would be great.

Brainiac, makes the most evolutionary sense from where they are heading in the DCEU.

I really liked the animated superman vs the elite. I don't know if there's a good original story to tell but I thought that was a cool cast of characters and would probably look amazing at least.

Brainiac is the clear choice for me.

He definitely would be. And what with War World and the other aspects of his mythology, there's a lot to play with there.

As for Brainiac, I'd love to see some sort of adaptation of the Doomed storyline. Maybe not verbatim, but something close to it. Love that arc.

Brainiac, parasite, manchester black/elite and metallo are all villains I would like to see eventually but right now they need to get superman himself right before they even think about the villains by fashioning a story the fleshes the character out and then try and use a villain that best fits the mold of the story.

For a Lex-centric storyline, you can go with any combination of Bizarro, Metallo, and Parasite. They can all be monsters that Lex has created. Down the line, Metallo or Bizarro could pop up in the Legion of Doom

Another option is a War World storyline which has major potential. If they're going to do Mongul, it would be smart to consolidate his two biggest storylines. A combination of War World and "For the Man Who Has Everything" could provide something really fresh. Mongul definitely deserves to show up in the DCEU, and a Superman movie is the perfect way to introduce him

Brainiac is everyone's top choice. He clearly needs to show up in a movie, we've all been waiting for so long. I would be happy with him showing up in a future Superman movie after this one though, because we all know that Brainiac will show up eventually. He's far too big and iconic for them to pass up. if they're going to do Brainiac, I think they should definitely bring Supergirl in and tie her to Brainiac through the bottled city of Kandor. The bottled cities is a fresh concept that really sets Brainiac apart from other villains.

Beyond that, I don't really know who I'd want to see. They've already tackled three of Superman's biggest foes in Zod, Lex and Doomsday.

Brainiac
Mongul
Mister Mxyzptlk
Parasite
Bizarro Superman
The Atomic Skull
Metallo
Cyborg Superman
Tiitano :awesome:

I agree.
But upon thinking -for the umpteenth time- of how overly used kryptonite is as a plot device, I'll say I don't want Metallo in this world, I'd rather they keep it down to Lex Corp finding all the Kryptonite that landed on Earth.
I think the way it was used in BvS was one of the smart things they did in that movie, and it takes more than a small chunk for Superman to fall under mercy.

I'd love to see Parasite as a film foil on his own, no companion, he's too dangerous on his own, and I'd love to see creative ways of subduing him, and rely less on mass destruction.
