My favourite of the 2 movies, i love all the riffs on classic stuff like Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes and the 39 Steps, plus Fann Wong is a great addition.
Also marathoned the Indy films in chronological order starting with Temple Of Doom(which takes place before Raiders even though it was released after that movie).
Visually grandiose like the epics of golden era Hollywood and with good performances in the key roles, it just suffers a bit from numerous plot points being skimmed over despite the chunky runtime.
My wife and I have been re-watching THE X-FILES series. Tonight it was time for the second theatrical film THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE (2008).We thought we had seen everything up to and including this movie....even though neither of us could remember a thing about it. Well....we watched it tonight...and there are two possible reasons we didn't remember anything about it. (1) We never watched it. (2) we watched it....and we managed to hypnotized each other to purge it from our brains because it was such a giant load of crap.
