Venom : Let there be Carnage

Ooh, I'd love to watch this, even though I probably have to dig deep on the interwebs here. Fleetwood Mac has such a rich story from beeing a typical British blues invasion inspired band in the 60s, (like lots of other British bands were, hence lots of great music afterwards inspired by that) and mixing up with American members in early 70s. Which led forwards to the super successfully Rumours album.VH1 BEHIND THE MUSIC, REMASTERED : FLEETWOOD MAC ( 2009)

Behind the Music was a show that I used to watch regularly on VH1 throughout the 90s and early 00s.
I'd often catch them on the weekends , and each episode would be about an hour , and focus on either a group, or an music artist , from the past or present .
Often , the episodes would center on a classic album by a group or singer , while other times, they would be full blown documentaries like this one.
The original Episode on Fleetwood Mac actually aired in 1997 , but the one I just watched was a updated Episode bringing the bands story up to the late 00s.
I actually hadn't seen this updated version of the episode before now , but I did watch the original episode in 97', as a teenager.
Growing up in Southern California in the 80s and 90s, I grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac, and it's still one of my favorite groups to this day.
While it's a little harder to hear Christie McVie's lovely voice now( without feeling a bit sad), the music still music still moves me , and it was great seeing this special after all these years.

Rumours is one of those few albums you just play from start to end, and there's not a filler song inbetween (my odd but IMHO fair comparision will always be Reign In Blood by Slayer from -86. Suddenly its all over, wtf?). In fact, I still pull out my bass guitar sometimes just to play that iconic bass riff in Changes. Quite simple to figure out, but regardless eternaly brilliant.
Eh well, I guess rant's over now, and this would be why I actually came here:
Lone Star (1996)

A murder mystery which turns into an even more interesting high drama about various family, race and other conflicts buried in history in this small Texan town. Highly recommended, parts of it actually feels a bit ahead of its time IMHO.
First time I've remember watching Chris Cooper actually starring, and he's truly great in this story. Lots of other great performances here as well. Funny enough, it took me some seconds to realise I was actually watching a young Frances McDormand here in a minor role (and a great scene, she typically owned it). Who voulda known back then.
