What we know so far!!!

Oh and......

Wait...I'm kinda confused.....I was under the impression that Zak Penn was at the writing Helm since the beginning.......Someone explain this to me.
he took Zak Penn's script and changed it a bit to his liking. I should change that bit, he tweaked Penn's script.

Very good on Norton's part. Penn's script more than likely sounded a bit too cartoony, and Norton inserted some of his ivy league intelligence into.
Scripts that go through re-writes especially by someone who 'has a great eye' produces magnificent results imo.

video of the concept art unveiling ...

that new concept art for the Hulk is definetly a step up from what we had before. Thumbs up, cant wait for some actual footage.

found this on another website, its a huge rumor but its the good kind of rumor.

Found this on a couple other sites

"The dirt paraphrased from Marvel Studios producer Kevin Feige goes like this: Zack Penn wrote a few drafts that were great starting material, and that when Ed Norton came on board he started suggesting ideas as a fan of the character. Eventually, Feige asked if he wanted to just write the script, which Norton did. So in addition to being Bruce Banner and performing whatever mocap or percap will be used to make the Hulk, his name will be riding high as screenwriter.

did Hulk just beat the 2nd most powerful guy in Marvel?...I remember Hulk had a fight with Juggy before a beat him. This is the Hulk, he can eventually beat anyone, including Juggy, Juggy can be 10 times stronger than Hulk when the fight starts but Hulk will pass him cause he doesnt know how to stop fighting. You piss him off, he comes after you until one of you is dead.

No...wrong. Hulk has never, NEVER flat out beat classic Juggernaut. Ever, period. He has beatten him recently, but Juggernaut also wasn't at full strength.

Look Sava, I've gone over this as well as many other Hypsters on here arguing against the Hulk. And it's not that I have some sort of grudge against the Hulk or anything. In fact the Hulk movie was/is one of my favorite from Marvel and I think one of the most well done to date.

As for his limitless strength, it's only potentially limitless, that is a huge difference to it actually being limitless. There is only a certain degree to which his anger can rise, especially when Banner is still inside him because Banner is the balance to him. Just as Hulk is the rage that sits inside Banner.

The strongest we've seen Hulk is possibly when he cracked Onslaughts armor, but he still passed out from that feat, when Betty died, or currently in WWH, and even now the writers have admitted that Hulk is possibly at his strongest due to receiving a decent amount of power ups from an explosion and such.

Hulk is not the strongest one there is. He is simply the strongest humanoid to walk the planet Earth. There are dozens of characters that can mop the floor with the Hulk, either physically or otherwise.

There are more than a few beings that can draw their power from the Universe, which to my knowledge spans billions of light years (at least 15) and is still expanding at the speed of light. So...that seems like limitless strength to me.

Juggernaut (was) completely powered by cryottak (sp) an older God who's power far outweighs that of the Hulk's. So given classic Jug's might, Hulk is not beating him. I'm not saying Juggernaut takes Hulk down easily or even at all. It's pretty much a stand still.

Yes but that doesn't mean he knows comics. I'm not saing all script writers do, nor do I doubt Norton's talent. But being a great writer and being a great comic book writer are not the same thing.

I was just referring to it in the context that when scripts are usually put on screen as is, without fresh eyes fine tuning it (ala Blade:Trinity) you can get a disaster on screen. Whereas with Blade's 1 and 2, the script was fine tuned after Goyer's initial script by Guillermo and Norrington, and we got awesome movies. In other words, the script imo, should just serve as the foundation.

it is a stand still, i agree there, it would be a very hard fight and it would go the distance. I think Hulk has an advantage because of his limit less anger thing. I think, out of 10 fights, Hulk has the chance to win the majority of it. But its not clear cut, Juggy can beat him.

Sounds good.

Again Sava, it's only potentially limitless. Juggernaut can not be stopped once he starts (classic anyway) not even by the Hulk because the God that his power comes from is far, far above the Hulk. And Juggernaut's invulnerability is true invulnerablity and his regeneration ability is on par with the Hulk's.

There is very little or no chance of the Hulk beating classic Juggy just as there is little or no chance of him lifting Mjilnor due to his strength alone.

really?.....not really to sure with Juggy...but his strength matches up with hulk?....but doesnt hulk get stronger when he gets angrier?

i'll take your word for it, i dont know much about Juggy in the comicbook world. I think EB was talking about the one from X3.

Juggy's strength is always in question, there are no statements to say that his strength is potentially limitless (again there is a difference between potentially and actually) but classic Juggy is truly unstoppable and his ability to be so comes from a God that is extremely powerful, smiliar to Thor's Hammer Mjilnor (sp), just as no one can lift it no matter how strong they are, the enchantment only allows those that are noble and worthy enough to do so.

If it's the pathetic version of Juggy from X3, I hope Hulk kills him. What a waste of a potentially great character.

With the Spiderman franchise hitting a cross rounds on where to take the franchise next, The Hulk really has the potential to be the next big B.O giant in terms of Superhero franchises. I've said it several times, and i'll say it again; Hulk is just as iconic as Spidey. There's very few ppl on this planet who have access to media, in some form or shape, that you can show a picture of the Hulk to and they will not no who he is. Even if by some chance they can't name him, they've sure seen him before.

This reboot is the best thing that could have happened to this franchise, and should be the PRIMARY focus point of their marketing campaign. Let's be real, ppl didn't really like the Ang version, and knowing this one will be nothing like that one, could entice them back to the movie theaters once again and allow them to give this well deserve franchise a second chance. Sure they made mistakes with Ang's but hopefully those will not be repeated. From the marketing, down to the final product, Hulk has the potential to be Marvels next big 'in thing'!

Move over Spidey!

damn interesting, i guess i gotta read more about him, huh?

i agree, they could have made a whole movie with that guy as the villain and it would have been amazing too :(

being a Hulk fan... i agree

But this movie has to be great just to make Xmen 1 numbers IMO, people who hated the first movie wont go to see this until their friends say this is a good movie. Plus, having the critics on your side helps too.

Yeah, i got a funny feeling (i hope i'm wrong) that this movie, unfortunately won't be a big B.O hit, but rather do what the Batman Begins movie did for the Batman franchise; restore hope in ppl's perception of the character. But if this movie truly is good, then just like with Batman Begins, word of mouth will allow it to have great legs and totally make a killing in dvd sales.

yeah, thats what i'm thinking too, this movie still isnt a dead cert to make 200mill just because of its release date or the cast. I hope it makes more than the first one and has way better world of mouth.

So Norton didn't really write it...he just did the 4th draft

I would be very interested to read the third drat and then see Norton's changes
