What we know so far!!!

I wonder where AMAZONA is now.

Probably through two other screen names by now. These guys pop up on every major board here, and put these things up to get cheap attention.

Well i believe that if the first 40 minutes before we get to see Hulk were actually engaging, ppl wouldn't have minded the wait. It was about 40 minutes or so before we first saw Batman in costume in BB, and i loved every minute of the wait. Infact some of my favorite parts of Batmn Begins were of the non-Batman scenes. Batman was just the cherry on the cake to me...that's how a Superhero movie should be made.

Yes but Batman is a man made creation, i.e. he does not have any powers. Part of the fun was seeing what would cause someone to create that character, and watching His journey to become Batman unfolds. The Hulk was an accident. It happened one day and it changed someone forever. Banner did not want to become the Hulk and he was not born with powers either, so the real drama is how Banner deals with these new and dangerous powers.

I agree quite frankly I think the first sequence all about Banners dad...could have been used at a different point in the movie as a flash back, and it could have been cut back

i have a question... the front page says reboot... but marvel and the filming seem to be contradicting themselves on the subject... because they said so themselves it opens up where hulk is on the run in south america (Same place the original ended) sooo that also means theres no origin as well. To me it sounds like there saying reboot just for the sake of separating themselves from the first film.. when in reality its a sequel, that just doesn't mention most if not all the events from the first, while creating a whole new look and feel

I think they actually call it a reboot-sequel which means they will continue from the previous story, but they will ignore everything else. I will look for the site that explains this and post it later on if I find it.

thats what i've been thinking too.. they just haven't been too clear on it, which imo they are doing just so people don't get pissed that its in continuity... which personally i find it fine if it is... most people didnt hate the story in HULK, they hated his size, the editing, the lack of action, and the villain.

Quite frankly I don't care if it is a Sequel, Reboot or Soap Opera. Just as long as it better than the first film. More action, More Hulk onscreen time and an epic battle at the end. Give me those and I'm happy :woot:

It is a new, fresh start on the franchise. They are completly ignoring Ang's film and have new ideas. It is a re-boot! They plan to make this franchise into three films atleast.

Penn's original script was more of a sequel to Ang's Hulk but was kinda different. LL didn't like that and thought the script could be improved on so he and Norton sat down, got some ideas and then Norton did rewrites to the script.

Aight cool!

a complete reboot means a complete start over... there not starting over, just ignoring. theres a difference

Well they are starting over aren't they? New director, cast, Hulk and origins.

They are ignoring Ang's film as if it was never made. It was not a success for Universal so now they are starting over and making a Marvel movie.

Sarg let it go. Trying to explain that this is indeed a complete RE-BOOT to those who can not read will only give you a headache.

This is exactly why I said I don't care. Whether its a sequel or not is not really gonna make you enjoy it more or less. You not gonna be at movies saying "I can't believe they didnt explain whether it was a sequel or reboot?! I hate this movie!!" Then again it may have some people saying that lol!

Me Imma say "Hulk Smashed! And he smashed very well!" LOL! So I think this is a pointless argument IMO. (Then again these boards seem to thrive of pointless arguments :woot:)

By the way IMO means "in my opinion" right? Imma Hype newbie and no one ever explained that but looking at the context in which it's usually used I kindah guess that is what it meant. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I still think that this will be a vague sequel

Spaghetti........................Ok I'm mistaken it's a do-over Cracker Jack waves at Ions. Angs Hulk is long gone. New actor, new origin, new hulk, no dad and no moss. Re-boot :oldrazz: :woot:

Exactly! I don't care either. Really, it's silly. We're gettin another Hulk movie. That's all I care about. But it is what it is. It has nothing to do with and does not want to be associated with Angs Hulk in any way, shape or form. I'd say Re-boot. But if people want to believe it's a sequel, vauge or otherwise, have at it. :woot:

actually considering the film starts in south america with HULK already on the run, (same place the 1st movie ended) the origins are not starting over

plus the new news today says nothing about a "restart" infact they call it the "first chapter of our new saga" theres no origin people... its a reboot as in "reviving" a dead franchise. There not "restarting" just ignoring. Think of it as Superman Returns... which ignored superman 3 and 4

*Cracker Jack covers his ears* LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA I'm not listing to people who refuse to except the truth “It’s a fresh start because I saw there is a real fan base for Ang Lee’s movie,” said Leterrier of Lee’s ill-received “Hulk” in an exclusive interview with Wizard. “I didn’t want to offend [those fans] in any way, and also I like the movie. It was very interesting. [But] it was weaker ground to build a big franchise upon so we decided to scrap it and establish it from bases that are more comic book-based and TV show-based." sounds like someone is in denile...

but btw why the hell does it matter either way? its still something new either way. I'd have no problem excepting a complete reboot, but im not going to deny the fact that in the movie he ALREADY is the hulk, and it starts in the SAME PLACE THE FIRST MOVIE ENDED.
