I started rereading Left Behind a few months ago but got distracted with the book club I run. Sadly, I only have time enough for one book a month. Currently I'm reading my own book, Cicada Song. I got the proof edition of the paperback this week and I'm reading through it, looking for last minute changes and errors. It's an amazing feeling to actually be holding it in my hand. It's been up as an eBook for a few months now but I'm not into those and this physical paperback is just amazing. Once I finish it in a day or two I'll update it and it should be available for sale on Amazon.com and other places after that. I can't WAIT for that. Then, probably late in the week or early next week, I'll get the proof in for my children's novel.

Re-reading my John Le Carré collection I lent my uncle over a year ago- he finally decided to give them back.

Finished The Tailor of Panama and I'm on to The Constant Gardener.

Just finished Stuart Neville's trilogy.
Ghosts of Belfast is a must-read.

A little hard to get into initially, but once I got used to the setting and all the weird names of everything, it moved pretty quickly. Mieville does a great job of creating a contemporary fantasy world.

The last novel I finished was Ranger's Apprentice: The Ruins of Gorlan. I had read the second book in the series first two years ago, and it turned me off the series entirely.

I decided to give the series another chance, bought the first book new for $2, and started reading during last week's vacation. I couldn't put it down, and now I'm hooked.

With the renewed interest in movies themed around archery or featuring archers in key roles in movies like Brave, The Avengers and Hunger Games -- I'm surprised MGM/United Artists haven't moved forward with it. I think it could be the next book-turned-film franchise, if done correctly.
