Saw it again for the 2nd time.

8.5/10

Fast Five

This might be the best film out of the series, they actually took it and gave it a interesting storyline with twist and turns like a crime film. Over the top action is top notch without making it overly over the top. The Rock = Badass.

8.5/10

Thor

Was far better than I expected. Of Thor, X-Men: FC, & Captain America, I thought this looked like the weakest link of the three from the previews...again...Way better than I expected

A well-constructed film that is perfectly directed by Romanek. It's poignant, profound and the themes are just as thought-provoking as the novel. Mulligan is undoubtedly one of the greatest actress we have right now and both Knightley and Garfield was great in their roles . The movie looks gorgeous with the muted colour palette and Romanek's history with music videos helps with images that are sprinkled throughout the film that are beautiful but also haunting.

Fast Five

I loved it but...

Vin Diesel is so ridiculously gay for himself it's not funny. He needs to learn he's not king ****. Despite the script making The Rock look like a bumbling moron at every turn, he overcomes it with an awesome performance and screen presence, whereas Torretto is such a Mary Sue or Peggy Sue or whatever that it's just tiresome.

Fast Six should have Steve Austin in it. Because you'd just know he'd potato the **** out of Diesel and force feed him some humble pie.

But the film is great fun.

A Bittersweet Life

****ing masterpiece. Everyone watch it now.

Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith...(for the millionth time on SPIKE......)

THE ALMIGHTY THOR......not to be confused with the Marvel adaptation, this was the SyFy channel's most recent extravaganza.....on a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a minus 87.

Very underrated Horror movie that was a childhood favorite of mine and still holds up as an entertaining and at times genuinely spooky movie.

I saw Thor a second itme yesterday and it was just as amazing as it was the first time I saw it.

Did you see it in digital 3D, IMAX 3D, or just regular?
Well, I saw it in 3D at the midnight premeire a few days ago. Then, yesterday, I saw it again in 3D because it seems as though every showcase cinema in the state of Rhode Island (the U.S.A's smallest state) now has 3D be a mandatory thing. If a film is in 3D, you have to see it in 3D. There are no 2D versions for a 3D film in my state anymore. Last time there was was Toy Story 3.

Yeah similar situation here in California. Out of the three showings of Thor only one was regular with limited time slots while Digital 3D and IMAX 3D dominated everything else.

Sounds like a real winner. :awesome:

I liked the movie, the book and Mark Romanek's music videos, but the movie didn't sit as well with me as it did with you. One I'm definitely going to revisit a lot in the future.

Yeah, my friends and I saw it in 3D because the only 2D showings were at 10:30 and 11:15 at night.
