Wow, you got alot more out of it than I did. You must have love this then. This was about the only Mann movie I was actually into. Heat having some exceptions. Vincent is definitely Cruise's second best, with his performance from Magnolia being first. But I loved him in this role. Mark Ruffalo also had a good role.

"No I shot him. The bullets and the fall killed him."

Then when he owns those thugs.

A film that has it all. Chance is a great character and Sellers plays him perfectly, and on top of that, the movie is a very insightful satire of our culture and politics. And though it was made in 1979, all the satirical elements remain relevant.
