I watching this movie last night called Goyokin. It's about a former samurai who turned a blind eye to his clan massacring a village so that they could steal money to pay their taxes. He finds out that they're going to do it again because their taxes have been raised, and they need more money to pay for them. He decides to go stop them, and in the process examines what it means to be a samurai.

It's a really great movie. I think it's the best samurai movie I've ever seen, and that's coming from a guy who has seen Seven Samurai. Here's a pic from the movie.

If you're into samurai movies then it is a must see.

Good interesting start, but the Director is aiming for Hitchcock heights and fails ,and the film turns into an obnoxious, drawn out and unwatchable mess.

A cheesy but really good and entertaining B movie. I've always liked the first film. It takes some clear inspiration from everything from Robocop, Terminator, and Platoon and puts its own spin on it to make something somewhat fresh. Its one of Van Dammes better movies and Dolph is by far the best thing in the movie.

This one let me down. No so much because they did some things different but because a lot of it was so cliche and predictable. It just didn't have that creativity of the first film. Goldberg is pretty much there to play Wyle E Coyote and while Michael Jai White tries he just can't match Dolph Lundgren as a villain. I did like how they tried to make Seth different from Scott though. They didn't go over the top with it. But even when to take that out of the equation Sgt. Scott was just more compelling. The whole affair is just the cheesiest most B rate of the Van Damme UniSol films.

Its taken me a long time to get around to watching this one. Now this is more like it. Its a pretty basic story but it take the UniSol idea and presents the whole concept with a new style. I loved the more realistic and gory take. The first film was a little more bold and splashy while this film is more grounded. The cool color palette and bleached out filtered look works for the setting. Van Damme really tries something a little different here and so does Lundgren.

Loved the way the fights were choreographed. You can see the MMA influence and it just looks brutal. Not only that but they take that brawling style and augment it with the UniSols superior abilities. These guys just demolish any area they fight in. I think the Deveraux vs Scott fight in this movie looks more vicious than the final fight in the first film.

The biggest problem I have with this film is the rather muddled continuity and history when related to the first film. From what I understand Regeneration ignores The Return and thats their prerogative but I felt like where Luc Deveraux is emotionally in this film doesn't really jive so well with where he was emotionally at the end of the first film...especially considerign its 17 years later. I wish they had better explained what happened to him during that period of time because it felt like I was watching a different character.

An OK horror film. I liked the story going through it and Terry Farrell is good. Doug Bradley really entertains as Pinheads human side Capt. Spencer. Pinhead is more over the top evil here but I think theres a god reason for that since his two halves have been separated and there's nothing to hold Pinhead in check.

The scene in the club where Pinhead first appears is pretty cool. Its a pretty by the numbers movie but its OK.

Not quite as cheesy as part III but it has its share. I was impressed with the ambition of this story with the way it covers such a large expanse of time and the history if one family. Not something you see in ever horror sequel. I like how they tried to do something different and its cool how the film explained the origins of the Box.

Some of the happening in the film are pretty grisly. Angelique was a pretty interesting character. I also like how this tied into the end of Hellraiser III and picks up where it left off.

I can't wait to see it. One of the most anticipated Marvel movies in years for me.

Toy Story 3

I really don't get how so many people said the ending was sad. That was about as happy an ending as you could get.

Yeah. For a second I was thinking that Disney went the hardcore route, and that part would be the ending. When I saw the real end I wasn't sad at all. Just had a smirk on my face for [BLACKOUT]Bonnie getting all those toys.[/BLACKOUT]

Honestly, I just think some people like to cry. *goes looking for the Best Cry Ever video*
