I think it's a bit of a shame that this flick gets overlooked amidst all the Batman hoopla. 9/10

A Nightmare On Elm Street (Remake). It makes me want to watch the real one. Interesting take on it.

Thor. Pretty awesome. Amazingly, it's the actual performances of the real people that make this movie great, rather than the action scenes and what not. Hemsworth is Thor. It's that simple. And Hiddleston and Hopkins play their roles really sincerely and surprisingly subtle and nuanced, when I expected them to ham it up to insane degrees.

Scream 4. Pretty good. I'd say it's as good as Scream 2, vastly superior to Scream 3 (which isn't that hard in all honesty). Problem with it was, it just wasn't scary or tense... at all. It relies on the comedy and meta commentary a little too much. Whereas the first Scream movie was just a great slasher movie in it's own right, with black comedy and meta commentary as a bonus.

Red Riding Hood. It seems they ran out of money and just put the ending together real fast.

The Losers. I really liked it. Good action and funny moments.

Tron

7/10

Its been years since I've seen the the original but buying the dvd and watching it brought back a lot of memories from childhood. Its a really fun and unique film for its time and its still pretty enjoyable today.

Tron also had quite a good and recognizable cast. Bridges of course has gone on to great things and Boxleitner went on to have a couple of very memorable tv roles. David Warner was great in his triple role and has become a fixture of film villainy.

Tron Legacy

7/10

A fun film for ITS time as well. I saw this when it was first released in theaters and had a blast watching it. Legacy presented a simple but understandable story and I like the more serious tone of this film. I thought a good job was done updating the look of the first film. The special effects were very impressive.

The cast in this flick was also very impressive. About the only negative I had was sometimes the CGI done to de age Jeff Bridges just looked terrible and took me right out off the movie. Other times it worked better.

There Will Be Blood - 9/10

After the ending, my friends and I jumped around the living room. Haven't gained that energy from a movie since I was little kid walking out of a movie theater.:o
