Finally got around to watching this and it definitely is my favorite film of 2010. Chomet crafts a beautiful, heartfelt film that perfectly captures the spirit and humor of Tati's films. Not that it is that important but this should have won the Oscar over Toy Story 3.

Saw two sea monster movies today.

8/10. Haven't seen it a long time. Some of the CGI sucks, but I still enjoy it.

Thanks. That simple emoticon. It means a lot to me. My soul went into that. I was just overcome with this depression and a sense of shame. The post was originally twice as long, but totally incoherent. It doesn't matter though, because writing it was incredibly therapeutic.

Very well made and acted, the effects aren't that great at times but the story and period setting along with the tight script make this one of thew best CBM's to date. 8.5/10

Inland Empire is probably one of the most insane movies I have ever watched but I loved every second of it. Two and a half hours of nearly incomprehensible Lynch weirdness. I really hope that he makes another movie soon.
