Confessions of a Superhero

A great documentary about these group of people who try and make a living dressing up as superheros/cartoon characters in Hollywood. You follow these 4 people who each have a similar yet different goal in doing what they do. Superman is the prominent star, although you can see he is really a stereotypical super fanboy. You pretty much see his home and its literally filled with Superman memorabilia. The guy who dresses up as Batman is quite scary, literally the real life version of Miller's Batman. He keeps a dark history of his past which he reveals piece by piece. He has severe anger issues, one story he confesses that he actually killed a man after an accident that caused his former girlfriends death. Next person you get to know is Wonder Woman, a struggling actress who had a dream to be a star in hollywood but is stuck with doing dress up. Not to mention she is lovely :awesome::hrt: but you also see what she has to go through with her love life and trying to get an acting position. The last guy they go to is Hulk, he went though hell being homeless for years in hollywood, who you also see trying to get an acting gig. All in all this is a great punch to the gut in reality of what people go though to make a living.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - 10/10

Still the best Harry Potter film. Easily the most well directed. This is how you adapt a book.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - 7/10

The narrative is fine, but something is missing to make it truly pop. And Michael Gambon gives his worst performance. Shame, since he has a lot to do in this film.

Super Mario Bros. (1993)

Still a guilty pleasure after all these years.

I actually like this, it does stands out when compared to the other movies from Fincher but it's really an engaging thriller.

Quite an engrossing film and there's a good performances in here, particularly from Winslet and Fiennes.

You're welcome!!:awesome:

Seriously I've seen it 4 or 5 times in the past 3 years, and I'm watching it right now. It is really good and you do feel sympathetic for these people at the end.

Insidious

SUPER creepy at the beginning. Atmospheric, chilling and scary. The last 30-40 minutes or so just get kinda cheesy. but its worth a rent at least.

Green Hornet
Didn't watch the whole movie, but wasn't sure I care enough to see a movie named after a hero who does nothing and is always rescued by his aid in the original series, and this could possibly be worse in the movie

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 7/10

There are some great moments and it was hard to see Yate's confidence with the material because of it. This would have benefited being longer. And I can't complain using more of Gary Oldman. The man is God.
