My favorite movie of the year, which is saying a lot considering I've seen over 100 movies in theaters last year.

Many seem to have forgotten to put this wonderful movie in their top 10 of 2011.

I guess because it showed so early in the year some are remembering it as 2010 or something but it really is a great movie.

The Adventures of Tin Tin: Secret of the Unicorn. Very good old fashioned adventure film that stayed fairly true to its source material. Credit to Spielberg for having two films out at the same time.

Now this was a hell of a lot of fun. Just wall to wall action that didn't give you time to stop and catch your breath. However it fell victim to old fat guy in a suit can fight a trained secret agent in hand to hand combat syndrome, which always sours my viewing experience. Nevertherless I need to watch this in IMAX for sure.

At least the fat old guy in the last movie fought with a handicap.

LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring--10/10.

I think Boromir's whole character arc and the breaking of the fellowship make this my favorite of the three.

That and Gollum barely appears.
