Really enjoy this one, 8/10.

Adventureland for the 12th time. Kristen Stewart can actually act and this movie shows it.

The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest: 3/5

Such an uninteresting film. It only really picks up in the last 50 minutes. Noomi is always good as Lisbeth.

The Princess Bride

One of the greatest movies ever made.

Guyver (1991), my score 7
Guyver 2 The Dark Hero (1994), my score 8, damn cool...need more reboot & sequel..

Event Horizon: 3/5

Was okay. Mainly meh. Had some occasional good moments though. Interesting concept.

American Psycho

I forgot that there are two theories throughout the film instead of one. Which makes it even better.

There Will Be Blood - 10/10

Wow, it's been two years and this got ALOT better in my eyes. One of the best of last decade I would say. I don't even think it got in my top ten. Anderson's best film. I wish I could write and direct a film this brilliant.

Who says you can't? You're an aspiring film-maker/student right? Where's your EdWoodian spirit?

The Ides of March

Top-notch actors in a solid political thriller. This is all about the acting.

I am. But I never said I couldn't. It's just one of those movies where I wished I did it. Anything's possible. Someday though, I do hope I can make a great film like that.

Young Sherlock Holmes - 8 or 9 out of 10

Tons of fun. It definitely has the Chris Columbus/Spielberg touch that's a really nice fit for this story. It reminded me of Harry Potter in places, all the more reason why Columbus was a perfect fit for the first two Harry Potter films. Even though, as respectfully mentioned, it isn't part of the Doyle canon, it's a cool alternative tale on how Holmes and Watson met as young men. Also, Columbus does a great job of weaving into how Holmes becomes emotionally distant. Even if this isn't apart of the canon, I can definitely see and accept this as a way that he is able to shut off emotions in the Doyle stories and how it forms his overall character. As a Holmes fan, this is a worthy film of Sherlock Holmes and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Ok, it was just that you used the word 'wish', as opposed to 'hope', which suggested you didn't think you'd be able to.
But aye, I don't like artists thinking they can't aim for the top, that they are not good enough, that is what your competition want you to think.
