I just started a job where I sit in front of a computer all day (it's like the Hype!, but I get paid). Anyways, I have time to kill and I get to listen to an iPod and rather than listen to the Beatles collection over and over with a little Meat Loaf here and there, I figured I'd spend the summer listening to some quality audio books.

So what do you recommend?

I have already listened to:

Freakonomics
The Lord of the Rings (unabridged, took two weeks)
BBC: Batman: Knightfall
The Last Days of Krypton
Clapton: The Autobiography

What do you guys recommend? I am open to anything really. Let's hear it (no pun intended).

I Am America And So Can You - Stephen Colbert

funny as hell if you like him, funny even if you don't.

I actually got rather obsessed buying audiobooks for a while after I got an Ipod. and I actually like the books where there's a full cast, not just one voice.
Treasure Island was pretty good.

i listened to a bit of the art of war once but it'd probably be better to just read it.

uh huh.

well i check out the grammys for best spoken word and did not realize barack, hillary, and bill have all won grammys for their works. f'n crazy.
