when do we get some official reviews?

I want to have some conformations that they changed things in this movie....or I won't see it in theaters. Are they still editing it? Will they even screen it for critics?

It's already being screened overseas. There should be word on the movie soon.

Yeah, there was a romanian screening on the 9th april. It was supposed to be just an internal screening for the distributors company, but some press did get in to see it. The reviews have been mostly positive.

There was a screening in London this week as well. Celestial posted a comment in one of the other threads from Jonathan Ross' twitter page giving the movie a positive review.

That's super normal, reviews usually don't start trickling in until a week before release or sometimes a few days. For all we know there could be an embargo on early reviews until it's official premiere or something like that.

There is no reason to give extra publicity to the leaked version of the film, so the mainstream critics are most likely going to reviewing the official release. I'm sure there will be plenty of comparisons to both versions from the entire online community once the film opens.

It's perfectly normal that there no official reviews, as those usually appear the week the film opens. Hugh stated during the publicity tour in Sydney last week that the film was a few days from being finished. Since the screenings just started on the press tour this week, it sounds like that was true.

I'm going to close this thread for now, and we'll start an official review thread once we start getting some official reviews. No need in starting any more Fox conspiracy theories than we already have.
