I need to read that book. But yeah, Regal is the man. I first became a big Regal fan during his Goldberg match, where he actually made Goldberg try to work for moves and basically exposed him.

Damn you WWE. Just when I thought Brock vs Taker II would be laughable, I marked out last night with their brawl and now will look forward to their match. Taker has to be better than his pitiful showing last time they met. Suckered again.

I love Brock so I'm not happy what happened last sunday, why would they use this revenge angle now with Taker I love Taker and he deserves all the respect in the world but don't how I feel about him potentially beaten Lesnar at SS halting all of lesnar momentum

I love Rollins Promo though but he needs some clean wins asap

Am i the only one who wishes that cesaro did a reversed swing where rusev faced the ground and he swings him high enough for orton to get under him and do a RKO?

That would be cool, but I wonder if it could be done safely, even with a smaller victim. The speed you would need to get a 200-240-pound man elevated off the ground enough, combined with the sudden stop and downward snapping motion of the RKO, could cause neck problems.

good point. i guess orton could go along with the momentum of the swing while it's slowing down as opposed to stopping it completely.

The downward motion would still be an issue though

It's like Cena's springboard stunner, it works like half the time, and half the time when it does work it looks like crap. I like Cena, but I wish he would stop that move, he's going to hurt himself or someone else doing that one day.

From what I understand in the context of Taker's and Heyman's promos last night, it's less about the loss itself and more of how Lesnar and Heyman have conducted themselves since that has Taker p*ssed. Which actually completely justifies this in my mind.

That said, can't wait for practice Wednesday. I'm going to be training as often as I can to get good enough in the ring to have a match. I've got ten years to make up for and dammit I'm gonna work my ass off to catch up.

Sunday night at WWE Battleground, Kevin Owens lost his second-straight bout to John Cena, seemingly ending his run as No. 1 contender for the United States Championship. Owens tapped to Cena’s “STF,” surprising many fans, given Owens initial strong booking in the feud.

On F4WOnline.com’s Wrestling Observer Radio on Monday, Dave Meltzer went in-depth on a possible reason Owens may have been booked to lose two in a row against Cena. And he points fingers at a potential backstage riff between some upper brass in WWE:
“To again explain this: there were two schools of thought on Kevin Owens from the start and the basic gist was that some people thought that he was going to make it and some people thought he wasn’t going to make it, and those who thought he wasn’t going to make it made sure that he got every opportunity to make it or else they would be wrong. You know what I mean? I shouldn’t say they would be wrong, they wouldn’t prove that they were right. So now whether he makes it or he doesn’t make it, there is a game going on and we’re in the middle of the game.”

Many will recall, Owens triumphantly debuted on WWE television not long before Elimination Chamber, where he promptly beat Cena in a clean finish. This was viewed, per Meltzer, as Owens first opportunity to make it.

As has been reported in the past, Vince McMahon has not always been sold on some of the talent coming out of NXT. The developmental system is largely viewed as Triple H’s project, with few of those who have succeeded in NXT actually finding main roster success. This can be evidenced by those such as Bo Dallas, The Ascension and Adam Rose, among others.

Last year, it was reported one of the reasons McMahon was not behind some call-ups was because of his right-hand man, Kevin Dunn. Dunn, who has been one of WWE’s primary producers for more than two decades, was reportedly not big on some of the talent’s looks, which would seemingly fit the bill for the unconventional Owens.

It is yet to be seen where Owens booking will go from here, as he has no clear match set in stone for SummerSlam on WWE television.

One of the best parts of RAW last night. Rusev still has me rolling. :lmao:

Wasn't he warned by the mods the last time about this or am I thinking of a different buffoon?

That was JabarR about something with Paige and Michael jackson. Jabar has been on my ignore for ages.

I think they just set up Rollins vs. Cena for SS. Rollins gonna comeback out and attack Cena in his match.

I'm still thinking Rollins vs. Sting. Rollins will continue to say how he has beaten everyone, and then Sting will appear. Rollins is the perfect person to bump around for Sting. So we'd get:

Rollins vs. Sting
Lesnar vs. Undertaker
Ambrose/Reigns vs. Harper/Wyatt
Cena vs. Cesaro

Is Sting even rumored to come back soon?

On this day, Shawn Michaels got his ass kicked by Vader at International Incident. Good times.
