Anyway, the WWE has been a "family friendly" company since "The Summer of Hell 2007" that almost put them out of business.
Hard to imagine that the "Summer of Hell 2007" was 8 years ago.
Was that the Summer that RVD left, Benoit died, and Cena, Bobby Lashley, HHH, Batista, Edge and Shawn Michaels all got injured?

And the drug scandal that followed the Benoit death.
And don't forget the car explosion. And the mass suspensions of wrestlers involved in big story lines. Regal won KOTR and was promptly suspended. He was all set up for a push to the moon. And instead of Mr. Kennedy being the Vinny Mac's illegitimate son, they had to pull an audible and make it Hornswoggle, thus making months of build up into a bad joke.
Ah, the potential.

Did Hogan actually say anything directed at the Rock? Because all I'm seeing is the stuff he said about the guy Brooke was dating.
I bet the Rock has never been referred by the "n-word" before. It's one of the advantages he has to being mixed race.

Also, the WWE fears a few things will happen:
- The Rock severing ties with the WWE for good because he has to stick up to his paternal heritage.
A walkout is probably not what the WWE wants. However a walkout and the African American community boycotting the WWE would leave The Rock very much conflicted.
I doubt Rock would walk out on WWE due to this. Even though he is half black, he seems to identify more with his soman side. Rarely ( if ever) does he speak on being half black. But he has talked about his somoan heritage many times over the years.

I always wondered if he and his dad don't or didn't have a good relationship and that's the reason he doesn't relate to his black side or that his dad being gone often and him being around Samoan family caused him to identify with that side more so.
Yea he Rock doesn't talk about his father all that much. I assume they weren't that close sadly..
PG-13 in their shoot said they have.I can't post it due to language, but just search for "PG-13 : All Grown Up" on Youtube, and you'll find it.They seem like really nasty people.Nope. I was just wondering if the Rock has ever been called the "n-word" before. My guess is that he hasn't.
