When the Wrestling Thread Got the Answers, HE Changed the Questions

I understand why WWE would want to part ways, but if the comments in question were made years ago, it kinda makes me scratch my head.

How is it out of context? It clearly wasn't in private. It wasn't recorded in secret.
What are you talking about? He was in a room alone with a woman who he just had sex with and was talking to her in private.

Unless you are talking about the DJ Whoo Kid show comments he made, that's not why he's in trouble.

I guess the camera appeared from no where. It was magic!

He was secretly recorded having sex with her on camera, which is why there is a lawsuit in the first place. You're acting pompous and don't even know the facts of the situation.

I would've paid for Ultima Lucha if it was a live ppv event. Maybe next years will be.

Maybe Hogan can just work less for WWE, They can say that they don't condone Hogan's racial remarks but still value his legacy and so they add him back on wwe.com,keep him on the network but not sell any or less merchandise and then they only work together for certain merchandise like video games and making new interviews for the network but no more Tough Enough or live appearances

Vince McMahon's n-bomb skit with Booker T (among other things) is being pulled out now by a couple of media outlets and he's being accused of being a hypocrite.

Not surprised at that to say the least.

That's stupid. Vince's skit was a remark of the character as a part of the show.

Hogan's is real stuff.

Is the black guy on Tough Enough still in it? He's the only one I like, He has an attitude but he seems decent in the ring due to some experiance and seems like the only legit wwe/wrestling fan

It makes me scratch my head that Hulk get's fired for using the N word years ago yet the Minnesota Vikings restructured a deal for Adrian Peterson to come back and play for no less than 20 million over three years after supposedly beating his young child.

Nah, he got eliminated. A shame, he was the only one I was rooting for.

That's a damn shame but oh well. Cameron,Miz and Ryback got eliminated and they've had more success than any of the winners

Meh, I don't think it matters who wins Tough Enough. If history is any indication, the winners will be out of the WWE by next year's Summerslam.

It seems like making stars the old fashioned way works better than doing it through a reality show, because Tough Enough winners always tend to lack charisma or any unique skill. They're real life CAWs. I think the only one I actually liked was Christopher Nowinski. Maven was bland and was treated more like some dude out of the audience who happens to have a nice dropkick as opposed an actual pro wrestler.

Isn't there supposed to be another Diva Search happening this year also?

They should cancel Total Divas and just have Diva Search

She kinda makes it seem the Hulkster died by her saying the father she knew

Plus doesn't WWE regularly embrace Ultimate Warrior and make money off his image and he pretty showed us with his own will he was a racist bigot?

I think that was a significant reason for Warrior being passed over for a reunion/HOF induction for so many years. When Warrior was actively giving public speeches that included homophobic remarks, WWE didn't chance sharing the negative publicity he was getting. One that died down and a few years went by, WWE took the chance.

While I certainly won't miss Hogan at all, and I'm sorry for all of his African-American fans who might be hurt by his comments, I doubt that we'll never, ever again see Hulk on a WWE program. It's just going to take time to heal this wound.

So I've sworn off WWE for the rest of 2015 after they've continued to book old guys over young guys yet again.

I was watching some classic matches (from a time when Vince still had a clue) and I noticed something depressing from Wrestlemania 6's mixed tag match:

Queen Sherri is dead.
Macho Man is dead.
Sapphire is dead.
Dusty is dead.
Elizabeth is dead.

Also, Gorilla Monsoon, one of the two announcers for the match, is also gone.

My apologizes. I assume this was a sex tape made with his awareness. I was clearly wrong about that.

That being said, this is the Sterling situation all over again. Him not knowing he was being recorded doesn't change his words. If anything, it confirms his feelings.

This...

I'm not sure why some are arguing that we don't know the context when the publications reporting on it have made it point to give proper context. The woman in the vid called him out for being racist and he himself said he was being racist.

It being 8 years old doesn't matter either. There's no magical time limit where offensive things you said suddenly stop being offensive.
