But you can't throw the gauntlets! Plus the batarangs are a trademark of batman. I think It wold be cool to have a scene where a goon is against a wall( just leaning on it) and then Batsy should through a batarang in to the wall but really near his neck.

Batarangs better appear in the sequel.

Or what? The film won't be good? Neither Batarangs nor Boomerangs have been used at all in either Nolan film, and the films have been nothing short of good and great. For those who think that it was Batarangs he was using in Batman Begins really need to look up what a Boomerang is.

Jumping to conclusions?
I never said that the film wouldn't be good???
All I am saying is I want to see the batarangs? That's it

And yes we all know batarangs have never been used in a nolan film.... we all have seen BB and TDK,we aren't blind... in BB he used Bat shaped Shurukins NOT a BOOMERANG,We aren't stupid. I don't know why your getting all worked up over this.

A batarang doesn't have to be a boomerang.

He uses many bat-shaped throwing devices. They're all called "batarangs" in the comics. Even ones that he just uses for cutting, which are essentially knives.

I liked the way he used them as shurikens in Begins. The idea of a batarang functioning as a boomerang seems campy as heck even though that's how its been depicted in the toons and comics. For instance, the programmed batarang in Batman Returns looks so silly.

Yeah, I'm confused as to why didn't Bats use Batarangs. Instead of jumping on Harvey and end up killing him, he could have hit him in the hand with a batarang and disarmed him. And don't tell me it would have been risky, after all we're talking about Batman.

Sorry, but it is too risky. Considering Dent had the gun near Gordon's son's head. Considering any sudden movement might have provoked Dent to pull the trigger. Seems too risky to me.

If he did that then Dent wouldn't have died and Gordon wouldn't have made that sappy speech in the end.

And Jumping at him is a better idea??? In my book thats more risky. Batarangs were not really used much in the other movies though, were they??

The whole scene was risky. From talking him down to any movement.

The things he shot in Jokers face were kinda like batarangs
