Which actors could you see as the next Bond?

I dont think they're going to be going for a 40 yr old for Bond because they'll run into the age problem/complaint in a few movies

Yeah, I think they should go early to mid 30s. Late 30s/early 40s would be okay I guess but after three or four movies, people will be calling for a recast again.

They're now doing the films 3-4 years apart, so yeah I think if they want any kind of lengthy run out of the next actor that they'd have to go for someone in their early to mid 30s.

Even if they start pumping these out every 2 years most 40s actors still only have like 3-4 films before they get too old or people complain that they're too old.

James Norton. The guy is on the bookies list for Bond. While he isn't a big name outside the UK he has been steadily building up acclaim with his Tv work and he had all the women swooning over him on Twitter when War & Peace aired at the beginning of the year.

Norton is also a good age to start playing Bond. Many of the guys people are talking about near or in their forties while Norton just turned thirty.

James Norton is also my pick actually. He's on that brittish crime show Happy Valley where he's great. He plays a guy that makes King Joffrey look like not so bad of a person. I think he's an upcomming star and I'd like to see someone younger be Bond.

I agree. There's no way he gets the Bond role. He's already a bit too old for the part. He's older than Daniel Craig than when he got the part. And Pierce Brosnan for that matter.

Cavill was tipped for Bond years ago, but he was too young looking. He's matured to a point now where he could play Bond. He has a great natural charm which would work well in the role, though it's something we (ironically) don't get to see much of when he plays Superman, due to how he's been written.

I think Cavill is pretty much my top choice - has the charm, the looks, the build, and despite hailing from Jersey, comes across as quintessentially British.

The only question would be whether he can play Superman and Bond together. They're two big roles, and his Superman build may be a bit too much for a spy-type, so it could call for a lot of weight loss and weight gain. Of course, the next Bond film with a new actor would be at least 3 years away (maybe 6+ if Craig decides to do one more), by which time the Justice League flicks will be done and dusted and Cavill will have played superman in 4 films - so he may not have that many Superman appearances left, short of a solo sequel or two to MOS.

Oh, and the man rocks a suit.

If nothing else, I can see where he might be interested (aside from the fact that every actor who isn't Roger Moore seems to end up hating the role). The franchise would be an upgrade over the one he's currently in.

Yeah, the knock on Cavill has been (up until this point) that he couldn't possibly do Superman and Bond at the same time. But after BvS, and WB's blatant effort to placate Ben Affleck in every way possible going forward, my guess is that Superman will be relegated to background character status in JL and everything else. So f*** it. Cast Cavill as Bond and give the guy a chance to really shine.

This sounds kind of strange, but I will repeat what I've said before: Cavill may be too good looking to be James Bond. Not to say any of the previous actors were hideous, but James strikes me as a guy who is kind of good looking, but not in a terribly remarkable way (which is good for a spy), but when he uses his charm and guile in concert with his appearance, he can make things happen.

Cavill is a freaking Adonis; the minute he walks into a room (I imagine) he's the kind of guy everybody just stares at, even if he's just there to empty the garbage.

Cavill could a good choice but I don't think they would choose him because he is Superman. If he wasn't I'm sure he would be on top of their list.
