Which actors do you think should be the next James Bond?

If anything which actors do you think are capable of portraying Bond or could play Bond especially if they are cast? Craig I am sure won't be playing Bond forever so that being said which actor do you see in the role?

I think Henry Cavill is too obvious - if they went for him then i would hope he had shorter cropped hair, not smooth and suave otherwise it be like watching Archer. I think Cavill would be 'too nice' and it would distract me if that makes sense.

It's hard because Brosnan's era was turning, in my opinion too gimmicky and almost a parody. Craig shook it by the neck and made it his own, in a complete different way.

If they went the route that he is a trained killer, cold, heartless but has some strange connection to one night stands, then sure - go for Cavil, but he would need to put in a damn good performance. I would model his Bond on the character of Leon - the professional by Jean Reno.

I want to see Bond being a loner, not because he wants too, but because he has too. He craves attention and when he meets a girl, he let's loose. Anyways, i will never be writer so who cares hey.

I also saw a shout to a ginger bloke - forge this name now.... oh yeah Damien Lewis.

I hope they get someone good who isn't already a superstar. I could see Elba working because even though he is big, he doesn't really have that one big role that everybody identifies him with. Hardy might not be a big franchise star yet (though I guess he could be Max for a few more movies), but he's such a big star at this point, that it would be really hard to see James Bond, and not think "that's Tom Hardy".

Dan Stevens is interesting because he looks the fit, he's good enough but he isn't a household name yet. When I think back, Daniel Craig being cast at the time was a bit like that. He wasn't really a huge superstar. He had been in some great movies, but you didn't hear his name and instantly go "oh, he's the guy from X and Y". It's only really after Casino Royale that his popularity really exploded, and we've seen him work with some of the biggest names.
