Which actors should WB/DC recruit?

Nicholas Cage for a man of steel sequel. he was almost Superman and loves the character.
Unfortunately a while back he made the decision that he'll take any old role for the money. But the guys got talent

Lee Pace has the height, build and acting chops to make a very good hero, he has already played a villain but I think he would also make a good superhero.

That would be cool. He looked nothing like himself as Ronan anyway so its not like it would matter.

Just saw Creed. WB, cast Michael B. Jordan as John Stewart. He'd be amazing. F*** that lousy Fantastic Four movie; no one will remember it in a year anyway. And if one Johnny Storm actor can go on to play another superhero in a better movie, I don't see why another can't.
Utterly agreed he would be an amazing John. I think Hal should be older than john, Jordan is the perfect age for John

Yeah, I've always seen Hal as the veteran GL, so making him a little older than John makes sense.

How about Anna Kendrick for Hawkgirl

Yeah. I remember reading an interview with Pace where he said that people ask him if he's British because he's done so many roles where he has an accent.

Anyway, I'm not sure Hal is the right role for him, though I'd be down with it. Off the top of my head, characters that come to mind for me are Maxwell Lord, the Spectre or Apollo if they ever get around to making an Authority movie.

Ruth Wilson
Sarah Bolger
Natalie Dormer
Paula Patton
Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Yeah, the guy loves superheroes so much, it's a shame he's never been in a decent superhero film. Can't think of a good role for him, though....

He at least deserves a cameo on Luke Cage, since that's where he got his name from.

Also, heck yes to Adam Driver as Red Hood.

They need to get Denzel on something, maybe go against type for Commisioner Gordon? What about a role like Harvey Bullock with him chasing down the Batman?

Cage would make a great older Scarecrow. Imagine him going nuts with the hallucination scenes.

Denzel was at the top of my list of actors for Luthor. He'd be charismatic and intimidating (and would probably overshadow whoever was playing Superman.)

Lee Pace could be Shazam. I could see him owning that role.

I think he could pull off a ton of characters.

Ocean Master
Mr Freeze
Hermes
Brainiac
Sinestro
Hal Jordan

Guy Pearce and Eddie Redmayne could pull off a number of villains as well.

Luckily the MCU killed off some characters, freeing the actors up presumably. Hopefully they kill off Elba and Ejiofor soon haha.

Didn't he say he wasn't approached at all, for any role?

Eva Green, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt for Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy would be amazing.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hardy and Jude Law should be the priority for WB now. Probably all three would be fine with making multiple movies. Clearly it's impossible to convince Phoenix or Gosling. And I guess it's the same with Leo or Pitt.

Hardy's got 100 Bullets with DC/Vertigo so he's set.
