Fant4stic Which Cast is Better?

Simple and straightforward. Do you think Tim Story's cast was better or is Josh Tranks newly announced cast better than what we had last time.

I actually really liked Story's cast. Alba was the weak link and sort of young for the part but even she wasn't terrible imo.

I will ignore what the end result was, and just go with how I felt prior to the film being released. It is only fair because this film isn't out yet.

So going by what I thought when the casts were announced, I have the exact opposite feeling as the first film. In that one, I liked the cast aside from Sue Storm. In this one, Sue is the only one I like on first impression.

Since 3 > 1, I went with Story's.

Hm, I picked Trank's cast. I just think they're some fresh, new faces that'll bring something different to the project than other typical choices.

I think especially under Trank's direction they'll be great.

Sorry to be boring, but I have to see the performances and context first before having a clear opinion on this.

The problems with Story's films had nothing to do with the cast. Fox screwed the pooch on this. I'll wait for the next reboot when Marvel gets the rights back.

I'm going on record now, this movie will be the biggest Marvel related flop film since Elektra.

Kate Mara is a good actress, and could potentially be better, outside of that this cast is too young (meaning they are doing ultimate FF), which is going to suck.

A lot of it will hinge on the casting of Dr. Doom for me. I honestly never cared much for the F4 themselves... but Doom is one of the coolest villains of all time. Of course, even after that announcement is made, we still won't really know whether the actor will be good in the role, but we'll hopefully at least have SOME indication whether he will be better than the awful Tim Story version. I hope.

Story's cast. No one was miscast except Alba. Trank's cast? I see 2 miscasts and a one or the other situation (either make the Storms black or make them white, just be consistent).
