Don't be ridiculous.
Joker shaves.
Didn't need to know that.

I know someone who'd disagree with you about that. This is a minor issue because at the end of the day, permaskin or make-up, he still looks like a ****ing clown.

Me.
How r ya? Good debate last night.
Having the joker use makeup to me is like giving him one shoe. No matter what foot it is on he is still gonna be unbalanced.I really don't think that one can work without the other.
Yeah, I mean, to me, the Joker's appearance ties in with his character. When I see Nolan's version of the Joker--with his cut smile--I see an insane maniac. For some reason, I can't imagine Nolan's Joker having Jack Nicholson's Joker persona.Having the joker use makeup to me is like giving him one shoe. That's one of the main reasons I like the character that nolan has created IMO. He's homocidal and everything, He has the right wardrobe, and his personality is spot on although it is extremely different from Nicholson's joker. But i just can't understand why they would even Come to think of Just having that. Being actually bleached white is what gave him this "taste for the theatrical", It is the only reason that he has such a grudge against batman. Without Revenge what could possibly drive him withsuch an impact as batman Making him what he is?Yeah, I mean, to me, the Joker's appearance ties in with his character. Strange, huh? For me, one cannot work without the other.

Personally I think he is actually bleached white although it is never explained and i'm fine with that. But Just imagining a non perma-white joker really doesnt make him all that different from your everyday criminal, and that is what really chaps me.
That would be a motive, and a very good one IMO. My whole view on the Perma-white has totally changed anyway. I'm glad nolan is going in a new direction, This is the joker i have wanted for so long now.Why can't he just be bat**** crazy and NOT have a motive? Have we forgotten so quickly Alfred's best line so far in Dark Knight?
"Some men aren't looking for anything logical... Some men just want to watch the world burn."
I would say that, superficially, it appears that Joker has no motives. But he does. The means he employs to achieve his ends appear insane and ker-azzy, but can be quite logical when looked at as part of his overall scheme. Why can't he just be bat**** crazy and NOT have a motive? Exactly! If Joker has no motive, then why would he want to come after Batman in this film?
If Joker has no motive, he has no grudge against Batman.
If he has no grudge against Batman, why the hell would Batman matter to him?
