After all this debate about the Joker applying makeup, and the Joker's skin actually being bleached, I think I can safely say the the Joker goes through some stages throughout the film according to the pictures. I made this observation sheet just so you guys could see what I'm trying to say here. Hope this thread isn't considered useless, hope you guys could agree what I'm trying to say.

let the over analyzing begin.

they (wb) are trying to **** with us though. no doubt about it.

Love your analysis picture. You pointed out a few things I hadn't noticed before.

I see in the mask pic, hair doesn't appear green at all. In the rachel pic, his hair is green but has brown roots and ends, but in the spy pic, his hair looks completely green.

I didn't read it all but with all the red circles it looks pretty interesting:up:

The one thing that has always bugged me is this: Why is the guy behind the Joker in the bank pointing his gun like that? Is as if he's pointing his gun AT Joker. Or, maybe, the guy in the background IS joker. That suit looks a little purple to me. I don't know. . . . but the clothes from earlier don't match up. **** -- I have so many questions. . .

I think we already know that he is applying make-up for the theatrics.

But what kind of makeup? Is it white makeup? Skin-colored makeup?

Less guys. Larger shares.

Pasty white, i'm sure Nolan knows that fans of the original, knows that Jack N. wore flesh color m-up and is probably banking on people thinking Heath L. is doing the same. They are messing with our heads. Who is capable of taking and releasing these pictures.

Think about it.

I've read the sides. :o

I was going to ***** about yet another Joker thread being made, but the side-by-side analysis of things is rather nice in highlighting the different looks. There was some work that went into that comparison sheet. It should get some pub. :oldrazz:

All in all, WB is ****ing with us.

by far the easiest way to reconcile them is that the joker has white skin under colored makeup (why would they bother putting white around ledger's eyes/mouth in the first shot otherwise?)

I don't think that the Joker is the joker with flesh make up on, and then white make up on aswell. But we can hope!

1) The ImageShack pic has exceeded bandwidth.

2) All of this desperate scrambling to understand the almighty "twist" is making me want to twist some fanboy necks.
