The flying around that Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike do is a lot more blatantly wired and choreographed than Wolverine vs. Sabretooth.

I'm not saying Wolverine vs. Sabretooth wasn't blatantly choreographed, but Lady Deathstrike came off a lot worse to me.

But in X-Men Sabretooth sent Logan flying like a cartoon character. When Wolverine fought Lady Deathstrike we got some great hits, like trapping and stab in the bicep. They kept slashing each other in the face but their adamantium protected their skulls. Wolverine tried manueuvering around Deathstrike, but she was faster and still had her skills.

Yeah I liked the X2 Lady Deathstrike fight. It may not be a Wolvie style of fighting, it seems like her style of fighting and it all seems very controlled and slick.

That's because she knew what she was doing (mostly, because she was mind-controlled). Wolverine was fighting instinctually. Otherwise he would have kenpo'd her ass to her ancestors.

Agent Zero. Huge fan of the character in the comics.

I liked the Wolverine/Deathstrike fight too. Although it was unfinished, I preferred the R rated version. :D

I hope the final Wolverine/Sabretooth fight isn't an afterthought and really means something between the two of them. I'm hoping for a long, dirty, physical match that can compete with the likes of Neo vs Agent Smith in The Matrix. Just, without all the fancy moves.

I thought the wirework emphasized just how strong those two were. These guys can leap very high for their size, so the momentum is greater. Since Wolverine had lost his memory in the X-Men films most of his moves at that time would have to by instinct. This isn't the Logan who was discovered by the Hudsons and inducted into Alpha Flight. That's why I was impressed with the mansion battle because he actually went for the vital spots in his targets. I think he even cut off a guys head after he stabbed his foot.

Wolverine never forgot how to fight after Weapon X, that's never been a point of his background, so I don't think it would work as a reason as to why he appeared untrained in some fights.

Not only that, but Weapon X would be pretty stupid to mindwipe his memories of training....seeing as how they're the ones who trained him and wanted him to be a top fighting machine:huh:

Also, fighting techniques are like muscle memory. I don't need to recall all the memories of myself learning how to ride a bike to ride one, once you learn it it just stays with you, so the mindwipe wouldn't have affected any of that at all.

And I was never a fan of the wirework, it just looked too fake.

Gambit looks friggin' badass in this film.

Gambit and Sabretooth for me, with Gambit coming slightly higher as we havent seen him on screen yet and he was a favourite of mine from the 90's cartoon.

Wolverine vs Deadpool all day long

after seeing the trailer i really wanna see what happens after gambit comes down with that staff slam on logan and creed...cant wait for that

I'm looking forward to all fights, but the ones I'm really excited for are:

4. Other - I'd like to be surprised by a fight. So, I'm excited for the unexpected.
3. Gambit - Though I'm not a huge fan of the character, I do think he'd provide for an awesome visual. And, well, he's just plain fun.
2. Deadpool - Pretty much goes without saying. But Deadpool's a great fighter and is one character I'm very much anticipating.
1. Sabretooth - He's such an important character in Wolverine's life, and I think that makes a fight with him so intense. I'm also very intereted to see how their fight(s) compare to that of X-Men's.

i would love a surprise fight, maybe even with Silver Fox involved, not against wolverine, but maybe against somebody else. If Emma Frost had more than just a cameo (which she may), then I would love to see her fight someone.

Sabretooth vs. Wolverine. Which one? I have no idea. I'm excited to see the fight after Silverfox's death since I know Wolverine loses that one (and it's probably why he wants new claws since he can't kill Sabretooth with the bone ones. No slicing). Besides, Sabretooth is my favorite Marvel character, next to Deadpool. :woot:

Maybe the end fight though since that's when **** really hits the fan and it looks like it's going to be absolutely sick.

 I hope the fight is really brutal, painful and long, and a culmination of what both characters have been through over the centuries. I am really looking to the Sabretooth bouts.

But just seeing Gambit on screen will be amazing.

A fight between Wolvie and Pool would be sick, in the comics they rip each other to shreds, I wanna see that in film form. With ol Wadey constantly jabbering on, should be awesome.

^I wonder were it is they are fighting? Does the Weapon X programme trap Logan and make him fight him or something?

I think weapon XI is specifically created to hunt mutants, Wolverine in particular. But there is a lot of mystery surrounding him and DP, so at this point, who knows?
