Well, this is a little bit unfair..I mean, 2003 swelled up to like 15ft and 2008 Hulk pretty much stays in the 9ft area.

But, I guess size isn't always a factor, but if then, if visual size isn't proportional to strength all the time, then there's no real way of figuring out who's stronger just by looking at the two physiques. I mean, in the comics, Hulk, who is generally between 8-13 ft, is capable of physical feats that are way behind any physical limitations for any human or human-like being for his size. His muscles, even if he was 30ft tall wouldn't allowed him to do the things that he does, but he does anyway..

So, unless there's a scene in this movie where he has a lot of trouble doing something physically that the 2003 Hulk was able to do more easily, there's no way of knowing for sure.

I'll be brave and just say this.

They are both the Hulk. Both are as strong as they needed to be.

Ang's Hulk had Tank Throws, this Hulk has Sonic Cannons.

I thought the 03 hulk was pretty lean actually, not crazy lean like 08 but lean enough to realistically portray a strong being

To the point, Even though I like and believe 03's hulk is stronger, I don't believe he is much of a scrapper while 08 looks like he'd go out of his way to have a fight.

based on this, I think the lil bugger could take the big one in a confrontation.

doesn't mean much but that's my two cents.

you know, i was thinking the same thing, Ang's Hulk looks like a peaceful guy while LL's Hulk looks like he just wants to fight, the aggression is the only thing thats different here, Both Hulk's get stronger and stronger but the new guy just looks pissed all the time.

spidey from spidey 2 is stronger than the thing, ghost rider, doom, juggernaut, beast, green goblin and pretty much every other hero in film apart from the hulk and supes in superman returns (and superman 2).

i do hope this Hulk can't super jump that makes it look like he is flying....

1) Ugh...I hate that TV show. Totally ruined the Hulk. Just like the Spidey TV show that had him almost never swinging on his webbing. Spidey was lucky though...that show didn't catch on enough to be shown and cement a bunch of wrong ideas about the character.

2) If both '03 and '08 Hulks get stronger as they get angrier, then it's a tie. Neither one has an upper limit yes?

3) I think someone here uses the word "fat" to mean "green". Must be getto-slang or something.

What I like about this "New" Hulk is that, from what I have seen, he seems to know what a Bad Ass he is. He knows that "Hulk is the stongest one there is!"

Now I know that Ang was doing an orgin story and he wanted the Hulk to be more like a child learning to walk but everything the 03 Hulk did just took too much effort and was just too clutzy. Such as throwing the Tank. That's cool and all but I don't like the fact that he has to spin so many times and thus gets dizzy because of it. In fact everytime he shows a feet of strength something awkward happens along with it. Such as falling down, losing his grip, or struggling to pick something up.


Things look much more effortless to the new Hulk and thus making him seem more powerful and sure of himself.


Just for the record I enjoyed 03 Hulk but I feel that it has not aged well and that Ang should have let a pro actor preform the Hulk parts and not Ang himself.
