To follow in the pattern of other similar threads, I thought I would ask the question "Which is the better movie? Fant4stic or Black Panther?" Or maybe I should ask "Which is Michael B Jordan's better movie?"

Now both of these are considered masterpieces of his and evenly matched (with Fant4stic even making Creed seem like an amateur home video by comparison). However, only one of them can come out on top.

Both Fant4stic and Black Panther have also been viewed as many times as each other. After all, MBJ did say

Now bearing in mind how many FFINO defenders there were in 2015, I thoroughly expect this poll to be evenly balanced and not skewed in favour of Black Panther, just because it is the newer (but not necessarily superior) film.

So cast your votes.

I actually laughed out loud when I saw this thread title. Now, I did like the body horror elements in Fant4stic and MBJ is easily the best thing about both movies IMO, but man its not even close as to which is the better film overall. Fant4stic just isn't a good movie no matter how many decent things you try to pick out of it and even worse it manged to make the early 2000's Fantastic Four movies look even better.

F4 is actually winning. WTF man!! This can't be real!

In this thread I do feel a bit tempted to vote for the lesser liked movie of the two, we all know Fant4stic is the underrated gem everybody needs to see at least once to understand its flawless genius.

Black Panther has a shameful CGI battle and one of the most overpowered magic tools that can reconnect and possibly reconstruct flesh, and that is some fancy BS I will never admire.

:oldrazz:
Going for Fant4stic as a protest vote.

Poor TV.

Fant4stic has a genuine moment of realism that Black Panther can't even match. In Fant4stic, when it says "One Year Later", it really does feel like one year later between that scene and the previous one.
It was very clear in Kate Mara's ever changing hair.

Medusa of the Inhumans is shook.

Let's see, the highest critically ranked marvel movie which was massively overrated due to politics or the worst CBM in the last decade?

Hard choice, but I am voting Black Panther. Atleast it had a good villain and it was watchable

Black Panther seems to be doing surprisingly well in the poll. It actually managed to catch up with FFINO.

See, I feel like this is simply not true. Black Panther is one of the most finely crafted movies, wherein every character works as both a human being *and* as an allegorical manifestation of a philosophical position. And whereas many movies use *some* characters to do that, Black Panther uses nearly everyone. Effectively, the whole movie is a philosophical debate, as T'Challa decides what he needs to do with his position and power.

Lmao, it was just a popcorn flick.

Where's all the FFINO defenders to rescue this poll? I thought people liked crash test dummy Doom or pantless Thing. Also did the springs on Reed Richards make people recoil in horror?

You guys couldn't just let Fant4stic have this, could you? No, you had to vote for the "good" movie...

I hate being that guy, but do we really need this thread?
