Which villian most deserves to be redone?

Mr. Freeze, Bane and Poison Ivy.

BTW, Tim Burton's villians were well recieved.

Riddler.
I can see how most of the villains on the list can be redone. As much as I like the Riddler as one of my favourite villains, I just cannot see or imagine how they would redo him for a Nolan movie. The bowler hat, domino mask, question marks on his suit,,all hallmarks of the character just would seem so silly to me in a Nolan film. I don't want to give Nolan too much credit for the Joker character though, other then he is extremely adept at grabbing key elements of others work and making a composite (early Joker makeup with Morrison's scarring).
While the Joker has seemed to evolve much like Batman, the Riddler still seems lost and dependent on the Gorshin interpretation. Just my observation though.

In terms of how terrible they were done in the past, it's a toss-up between Mr. Freeze and Bane.

Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Bane need to be redone but I don't give a s**t about these three villains. I think Riddler most deserves to be redone again since Batman Forever really f***ed his character up.

Pretty much every villain that appeared in a Schumacher film needs to be re-done.

The whole lot, really. But I think Mr. Freeze probably needs his reputation back the most. Bane and Riddler as close seconds.

Bane and Riddler for me, Bane is sadly overlooked as a villain in Batman's world and in the DC Universe at large but I think he has potential.

Bane and The Riddler. Either in a Nolan-Bat film or a future bat-film down the road.

I voted for Mr. Freeze but Bane deserves it just as much.

I voted for Ivy but Riddler,Freeze & Bane need a good treatment as well. I love the Arkham Asylum game did Ivy & Bane.

I also agree that they all deserve to be re-done but if I were to choose only one I would have to say Bane. Despite how the others were depicted, they all were closer (if barely)to their traditional character than Bane was.

Freeze for sure, but Bane and Ivy deserve it, too. The B&R debacle shouldn't be their only cinematic memory.

I'd say Bane and the Riddler in the Nolan universe of Batman movies these are the ones I can see really working. Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy could definitely use a better treatment but it would have to be in a more fantasy world than Nolan's films. Bane definitely deserves an update, so underrated and sadly lumped into the one-dimensional '90s characters, he could really work as the guy taking over the Gotham underworld after the events of The Dark Knight, he works as both the cerebral and physical villian, brains and brawn, sadly Bane usually is only seen for the brawn. Riddler should definitely be a Gotham detective working to uncover Batman's identity, as the ultimate riddle, who takes things too far.

ALL of them!,But if I can only pick one then.....Bane is also my top choice!.

Perfectly said!

They all deserve to be redone, and all will be, and always will be.

If I can turn this question on it's head, I wish Burton had done the Scarecrow rather than Nolan. I think the Cillian Murphy version of Crane is good and fits in very well to the tone of the films, but the reality of the Nolan movies means the Scarecrow can't be used to his full potential. The Scarecrow really is a Burton-type character and I wish he had used him.

Bane. I think he'd fit perfectly in Nolan's world, and his Bats needs a strong physical opponent. I don't think the concept of Bane is that far-fetched either. A man injecting himself with venom? I'd buy that, and it's already pretty dark. I'd love to see that under Nolan's realism.

Much love for them. I think that besides her character not being as poorly interpreted as most of the others in the previous Batman films, alot of people have faith that Catwoman, along with the Riddler and the Penguin is very likely to be done again at some point and done right.

As forv Ivy,I've always liked the character and would love to see a more black widow/gold digger/pscycho approach for her even as a subplot with Bruce Wayne in a future sequel. I just don't know when the right time or who the right director would be.
