It's Thor villian time

I'd love to see Ulik and Thor beat the hell out of each other on screen. Ulik can be made to look very brutush and frightening.

Loki is more the antagonist. I can imagine him sending Ulik out after Thor you know?

HOW ABOUT SOME GIANTS? Man they can do more with this movie than any other Marvel Franchise.

I just hope they don't market it toward little pre-teens like Spiderman was.

I have that issue you speak of, and yes it was a thrilling read. Thor almost had his tail handed to him.
I'd like to see 'Sorby on screen as he should be.

Thor actually DID lose the first round. Creel knocked him unconcious, then proceeded to tear Manhatten to pieces...

Agreed, I wonder how well the Zemekis verzion of Beowolf will be received, because from the trailers certain aspects already have me salivateing for Thor

the imagery for one...the Grendel is of course a frightening creature and he seemse to be well represented from the trailer

Ulick, could look like one of those giant orcs on super steriods from the Lord of the Rings....you know the ones only Gandalf whent one on one with, the ones that threw men around like Rag dolls

and again that firey Balrog...really made me think of Sutur live on screen

I was thinking:

Loki: Robert Carlyle

Fenrir: Ron Perlman (in human form at first, then either doing the voice of a GCI wolf/werewfol, or in a werewolf costume)

Jormungandr: Andy Serkis (voice)

Hela: Helena Bonham Carter

(of course, made up to look half zombie).

Like I said, guys who could play Loki:

Zach Quinto

Robert Carlyle

Michael Emerson ("Lost")

Michael Sheen

Vincent Cassel

Paul Bettany

Take your pick, they'd each be fantastic.

Paul looks the cruelest.

Check out Viggo in The Prophecy, he'd be perfect for Loki.

Vincent Cassel would make a good Loki.

I'd have Thor taking on Loki in the first film with Ulik as his lackey, The Wrecking Crew or the Enchantress in the second, and save Surtur for the third. Surtur's like Darkseid to Superman. You want to save that piece for the third part of a trilogy.

I'm seriously pumped about a Thor film. If we can get Karl Urban, or someone else I would like as Thor, that would be great. Then have a great story to complement amazing epic action, and you will have an amazing film.

While the first film is probably going to be a Tales of Asgard movie, I'd like to see Thor on earth at some point. Perhaps in the very beginning as Vikings of the Dark Ages are praying to him. Then in the second film, we could see Thor on 21st century earth. It would really solidify that the Asgardians while not immortal, are incredibly long-lived.

I wonder who will be the Warriors Three? Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg?

Jack Black for Volstagg! :word:

hmm James Woods could be interesting. I've always wanted him to play a Marvel baddie.

Why is it there are so many fantastic actors who would be perfect for Loki, but not one that fits for Thor?

Bettany, Eccleston, Woods or Emerson would all be really good Loki's. In my first movie it would be Loki & the "Dark Gods" would be the villains. The second one would be Loki again, but then have the Asgardian Destroyer. The last would be Surtur and the Ragnarok storylines by Walt Simonson & Dan Jurgens merged into one really epic story.

I think Sean Bean or the guy who plays Faramir in Lord of the Rings would be great Thor's.

I would actualy say go old and go with Nighy

but he has been over used at this point as a villain although in terms of a voice...for Loki..well sir I say he would be spectacular

Eccleston, Bettany, Cassel and Carlyle are my top picks for Loki

Robert Carlyle was quite Loki like in Ravenous
