Who else would like to see a movie with dinosaurs in a city location?

I just watched Jurrassic Park II: The Lost World again and the finale action sequence of the T-Rex in the city is still awe inspiring today! :wow:

I think with the effects we are able to do now (go see Transformers), there is a possibility of making a movie based around dinosaurs coming to a city-like enviroment.

Think Jurrassic Park in the city, a film that is similar to the final sequence of 'The Lost World.'

Possibly a stampede through the city with dinosaurs... teradactyles sitting ontop of skyscrappers.... a T-Rex looking in through a skyscrapper window! Etc. The possibilities are endless!

This might be another reason why I loved the 98' Godzilla movie... I don't know, but it's just something about dinosaurs or dinosaur-like creatures in a city enviroment that really catches my interest.

Possibily the next Jurrassic Park movie could feature dinosaurs moving in land, looking for a new home or some other motive? Not an attack, but more along the lines of Godzilla- the humans attack and the monster/dinosaurs respond to the attack rather than causing one.

Sorry for the endless ramblings, hopefully something I said makes sense.... but, I was just wondering- am I the only one who wants to see a movie based around dinosaurs coming into a city? Or are there others like me on here who really wants to see a similar concept to the finale of JP II be brought to life in it's fullest potential?

I'd like to see a film based on Topps' Dinosaurs Attack! cards.

Burton almost made that movie but thought it would be compared to Jurassic Park, so decided to make Mars Attacks instead.

actually I was thinking in the future of making a film called Dinosaur Island ( yeah I know it's a corny name but I can't think of a real good one) and in one of the movies in the trilogy two Tyrannosauruses and two Spinosauruses come to Manhattan

a remake of the lost world (1925) would eb sick. they bring back a trrex, trieratops, taradacto, and brokiasorus to london. put in new york=gaurenteed awesome blockbuster!

how about a live action version of the movie "we're back!" haha (i loved watching that when i was little)

I loved that movie when I was little. :)

...the main theme is the greatness.

Cool.

I thought I was one of the only ones who thought that movie might be kick ass in live action....

And hey, it's really possible now- since one of the key sources for finding film material are "children's books" and that's what the movie was based on, so... could definitely be possible.

Dinos in a city enviroment would be cool to see.. I've always thought the Dino Crisis games (1 and 2, I ain't played 3) could make good movies..

Two Words: Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Well, three to be exact)

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs is more of a jungle apocolpytic Frazetta thing to be honest. Though I would like to see some dinosaurs in a city like Chicago or something, and have a couple of them actually be "good guys" so we get some battles.

Same here dude, the first game ROCKED!!!

I really wished for a JP game along the same lines... go to Jurassic Park and try to survive! That would be amazing!

If the story was good, it'd be cool, but that's the key, it has to have an interesting story, not just the idea of a cool effect.

I agree! It could easily become another Gino or Jurassic Park 2.

One of my favorite scenes from the entire Jurassic Park series was when the T-Rex was running around in the city.

I could totally take a whole movie of that :)

I think that was the only scene I actually liked in Lost World. The little kid angle(Ian's daughter) ruined that movie for me.

Vince Vaughn: "Do you see any family resemblence?"

Other guy: *motions* "a little".

I love that part.
