Who IS Red Robin? A non-burger mystery.

I'll let it go when DC either performs the necessary mercy killing or gives her to someone competent to just retcon the whole thing.

Apologize to Peter David and let him use the "It was all a dream" excuse.

Oh, right. Wasn't Fallen Angel supposed to be his next Supergirl story or something, though?

I miss young justice..ah simpler days

I think everyone misses Young Justice at this point. Even if you hated it, it was still better than the crapfest Teen Titans has become.

I haven't read the issue so don't slaughter me for suggesting this, but any idea where Damian is during these events?

no he wanted blonde justice. Pre crisis supergirl, linda danvers and power girl in a birds of prey type series. thank the lord he's gone. All hail didio!

As for red robin, I haven't been following RIP too closely at all but wasn't dick in arkham? Has he got out? I'm guessing that it will end up being some non-entity I don't give a crap about

If Valley is Red Robin it will go a little way towards DiDio killing Young Justice.

But I still want a written apology from Winick and Johns.

Anyone read teen titans this week by the way?
killing the wonder twins = dick move

I've always felt those characters needed a serious revamp. I mean, it's not like it'd be very hard. Just swipe some Quicksilver/Wanda stuff, enable the boy to transform into more elementals than just water, and you got yourself a couple of good characters.

Are you being sarcastic, or insane?

Peter David said:
IF SUPERGIRL HAD CONTINUED

People have been asking me what my plans were for SUPERGIRL had the series gone past issue #80. I'll tell you, but am putting it in the "extended" section of this entry so as not to spoil the issue for anyone who hasn't read it yet.

When I first embarked on the storyline, I was told by the powers-that-be that I could use Kara for six issues. That was it. Six issues, no more.

I hoped to change their minds. Because I was positive the addition of Kara would bring in readers in droves.

What I was hoping was that support and interest for the series would be so major, so undeniable, so impossible to ignore, that I could use it as ammo to convince the PTB to change their mind and allow me to keep the character around. If that had happened, my intention was to turn the book into, effectively, a team book. The "S" equivalent of "Birds of Prey." Linda would have been Superwoman (for want of a better name), Kara would have been officially Supergirl, and I would have brought in Power Girl to boot. The tone of the book would have been straight up fun--three super blondes getting into adventures. In my truly demented best-case scenario, I would have subtitled the book "Blonde Justice."

That was my "A" plan. Unfortunately, the lack of support up front torpedoed it. Had we seen the kind of support for issue #75 that we wound up getting with issue #80, and built from there, I might have been able to pull it off. As it was, I wasn't.

The "B" plan was a continuing storyline with Linda about which I will not, at this time, go into detail, except to say that "Supergirl" fans should keep reading my DC work.

PAD

I think he means my 'All hail didio' remark. I'm quite sincere. Now all we need is babs as batwoman and the DCU will be all better again!

anyway, red robin!
Apparantly he is not kingdom come dick, he is of our earth and dresses in garbage clothes

Yeah I wasn't questioning whether Peter David said that, just how anyone could possibly think that was anything less than the single greatest idea in comics history, and that DiDio is anything other than a raving madman for not wanting to publish such a comic.

Well, PAD's Kara was certainly better than Loeb's Kara, at the very least. I don't know if I would've been down for "Blonde Justice," though. It sounds like it might've been funny, but PAD's humor can be hit-or-miss for me.

Nobody knows, in RIP he's shown at Arkham, but in his own book I've heard that he's doing something with Two-Face at a point in time when he should still be locked away in Arkham(around time Bruce is taking up his new personality) and continuity-wise it makes no sense.

One of the COV did something to him and he's foaming at the mouth and the Black Glove apparently wants to lobotomize him. Of course, that's what it appears to be, for all we knew it could be that COV member dressed in Dick's suit
