World Who is the most powerful mutant in the X-Men universe?

I still think Franklin is better than her. He can just will her existence out of the universe. He can make her hexes do what he wants.

Isn't Phoenix the most powerful mutant?

The Phoenix Force is not a mutant. If you're talking about Jean Grey, she is not the most powerfull mutant(although she is a strong one)

The one who may be the most powerful mutant ever is the New Sun. In an alternate reality the New Sun destroyed a world and the Pheonix force just by thinking about it. It is also what Gambit was originally meant to become when his powers first manifested but, Sinister removed that part of his mind b/c Gambit feared he would'nt be able to control that power. If 616 Gambit fully becomes the New Sun someday I bet it would make an interesting epic, exciting and devastating arc. He would be the only one able to destroy unstoppable mutants like Apocolypse, Wolverine, X-Man, and Sinister I guess.

You cannot destroy the Phoenix Force. You can destroy the host but not the Force itself.

I thought Jean Grey, Hyperstorm, and Scarlet Witch were all the most powerful mutants.

Didn't Franklin create Counter Earth or something like that accidentaly. I Would have said Jean, but she's only super-powerful with the Phoenix Force. The Onslaught entity wasn't really a mutant though. When Xavier was removed from Onslaught he wasn't a mutant just a very powerful being. I can't really remember much about it though so I might be wrong.

Franklin. but i thought he lost all his powers. I missed the abraxis thing. But i think he lost them there. Or he is just hiding them again.

No Reed just put mental blocks in to stop him doing something bad with his mind accidentaly. I don't know if he lost his powers in the House Of M fallout.

No, Franklin put mental blocks in himself so he could not access his full power.

what about exodus or mikhail rasputin? i haven't been keeping tabs on x-men, please elaborate on those.

i dont care who is it, for me it will alway be phoenix!!

Girl power!!!!

If you narrow it down, only OMEGA mutants can be labeled as the MOST POWERFUL mutants, hence the name.

Franklin Richards are like near Celestial level at best. At worst he is an Omega mutant. He's very powerful that he beat Onslaught that took on Marvel's ultimate heroes.

Mister M is also powerful, but I still don't know the extent of his powers. So as Hyperstorm. Full potential Elixir could be on the top 10 too along with Phoenix.

Onslaught is not a mutant. It is just a manifested of combined minds of Prof. X and Magneto.

couldn't rogue potentially be the most powerful? back when she could use at will any of the powers she'd absorbed in the past?

i always heard they "de-powered" her because she was becoming too powerful or something like that.

He did become the new sun in one comic temporarily. And he defeated the current new sun, but ended up giving up his powers after the fight.

But yeah gambit is the most powerful mutant.

Hyperstrom is Franklin Richards son . I think these two are some of the most powerful mutants, but don't forget the watchers and the celestials. Ultimately The Hulk is the strongest of all since any source of radiation can regenerate him. According to some The Sentry which is a knock of us Superman is the strongest Marvel universe character even though much is not known of him.

I think it's Jean Grey.
But it could also be Franklin Richards cause he's also powerful.

Other than that, I don't know.
