Comics Is Franklin Richards the most powerful mutant?

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but you know the old saying [SIZE=-1]'The fool wonders, the wise man asks'.

So is Franklin Richards is the most powerful mutant? Is it safe to say that his power is to shape reality however he pleases? Yet I understand that as a child, this power is quite insecure and naive.

But potentially, does he have the most powerful mutant ability?

Thanks.

Yes he is one the most powerful mutant because he is an omega level mutant

Oddly enough he never been said to be an Omega.

He single-handedly created a Counter-Earth. Out of nothing. If that's not Omega power, I do not know what is.

Oh, and currently, Franklin is powerless.

Isn't Jamie Braddock the most powerful mutant?

Has he ever created a planet out of nothing?

So he was depowered too?

Well before the House of M, I believe. I actually think it was immediately after Heroes Return. I think that Reed restricted Franklin's access to his powers because he wanted to give his son the chance to be a normal kid.

I'm not a hundred percent certain, but I think that's how it happened.

Franklin Richards is the most powerful mutant because his parents are overrated. Kidding.:word:

Anyway, yeah, he's practically one of the most powerful, MOST powerful, I don't know. And Jamie Braddock is less powerful than Franklin. The latter is just uber-powerful the word anti-climactic could not ever contain.

One, there a several Omega level mutants. Being one dosn't make you the 'most' powerful. Iceman is an Omega, so was Jean Grey (without Pheonix).

Two, Wikipedia dosn't mean jack.

As always 'most powerful' depends on who's writing. But Franklin is/was generally agreed to be a top contender. Nate Grey was up there too.

Ask me I'd say Scarlet Witch right now, she can shape reality to her will. Dosn't how matter how powerful you are if she dosn't like you she can erase you from history if she puts her mind to it. No one will know you existed. She might be second to Thor as the most powerful person in the MU, not counting Celestials, Beyonder and Galactus etc they're not really 'people'.

well thor isn't a person either, he's a god.

hmmm, I've always been under the impression that cable/nate grey were the strongest mutants ever...

I don't see sinister chasing after the fantastic four to do genetic experimentation on.

just putting things into perspective.

Yeah Thor is a God but I was thinking of it more like 'characters who mix with humans and hang around on planet earth' as compared to cosmic entities and such. Which Thor kind of is, but then he isn't too. At least we know he IS more powerful than anyone on Earth, he'll be the last one left when Ragnarok comes.

The reason Sinister dosn't chase F4 is because they're not mutants. Franklin is and if Sinister COULD chase him then he probably would.

EDIT:Jamie Braddock is nowhere near the level that Franklin was and Wanda is. And his powers are part mystical no?

Rachel Summers is up there too.

well sinister would have been aware of the genes of reed richards and susan storm and at least would have made an effort to get samples of them in order to further evolution, which makes me think of the limits of franklin in comparison to cable.

at one point or another cable and franklin richards (as well as nate grey) have been called the most powerful mutants on earth. The fact onslaught chased them both and required them shows cable must be up there with him.

Nate Grey is not a contender for the top list. He's not even Omega IIRC. And Scarlet Witch is powerful, but also not on the top list. If she's so powerful, she would've erased all mutant powers, but she didn't. Anyone who was behind Dr. Strange and Emma Frost (referring to the latter) had their powers, which means, some mutants can still block her more powerful attack as of date. Not to mention that there are still about 5 more mutants who can actually kill her before she can utter words or even track her even if she transport herself into any reality. SW is also not even an Omega, she is still a reality manipulator which is a lot of Omega mutants can still tackle. Rachel for example.

What about Mad Jim Jaspers?:D:D:D Captain Britan 4 Life!
