Alright, let's look generally at this from a hypothetical point of view

1. the film has changed, they are providing a better looking hulk in most people's eyes

2. They fix up the cgi movements

3. They include abomination, his greatest foe

4. There's a 26 minute fight scene

5. It has elements from the old series

6. They have cameos from stark/fury tying in other marvel films

7. Less intense drama, more action

So they have all these things now put in pretty much as a request from fans based on the reaction from the last film.

So the film is a success, and makes an impression at the box office, who is to thank?

8. Edward Norton staring in the movie.
:woot:

hell yes I'd thank Norton, if he wrote the screenplay and the movie rules, I'm gonna be a very happy guy.

You can thank me for going to see it many times as I plan to.

If it probably went well, I would thank marvel firstly for taking back the rights for this film, the adapted screenplay writers and also the special effects people.

the actors haven't given me much yet at this point to warrant carrying the sucess of the product, except for norton on his additions to the screenplay.

definitely norton. it may seem like he's trying ot make it his movie, but its only because he cares, and wants it to be great

I think all involved will have to get credit.

But the script writer, director, actors, editor and music composer in general, because if any one of these guys slack, they can make or break a film.

Marvel for having the coconuts to say the last one was bad, do another and Norton for coming to his senses, finally coming aboard to rewrite and help bring us what we want: A real Hulk film.

The fans, for enduring so many failures and misfires up to this point.

Norton

He's the star, he (re)wrote the script, and he has just as much creative input in this movie as the director (if not more so). If there's one person who deserves the credit for the film's success, it's Norton.

Oppositely, if this film fails, then Norton will be entirely to blame. :oldrazz:

I'd blame Penn; even being kept away from the project, his superpower of turning things into crapola is amazingly potent.

A combination of Norton, Marvel and the GA:

Norton for really caring about the project enough to personally see it through. Norton really is the best thing this film has going for it.

Marvel for making good decisions; from getting the rights back and trying to salvage one of their premiere franchises to making a real effort to make a quality film.

The GA actually willing to give the film a try despite the bad taste from the first film. If it's a good film I expect the GA to react to this film the way they reacted to Batman Begins with good word of mouth.

I would collectivly thank the whole HULK camp, its everyones hard work that goes into making the film, everyone from cameramen, to extras.

I think Marvel should get a special thank you for bringing this back after the first one´s disappointing box offide, when the original studio clearly had no intention of giving it another try. And to Ed Norton, who added the credibility that the project desperately needed.

Aside from the original creators of course:

Zak Penn: Writing the script. (This is still Zak's script with Nortons fingerprints on it).
Ed Norton: Being so passionate about it and so involved.
Louis Leterrier: For taking the job even though he originally wanted Iron Man.
Gale Ann Hurd: Getting all of these people together.
Marvel: For finally being able to start your own studio and being accountable.
Ang Lee: For giving us the last Hulk film.
Advanced Dark: For being so cool.

didnt know LL wanted ironman.......probably best that he got hulk.
oh and AD that was mighty generous of you to give thanks to ang lee.

1 the original creaters

2 L.L for taking the film

3 ed norton for joining the cast. and making the script better and putting good time and effort.

4 marvel for deciding to make this movie.

i get this really wierd vibe that marvel studios are doing these films.....
things feel different and i think its fresh, new, and for the better.

go hulk!!!!!!

go ironman!!!!!!!

but most importantly..........

GO HULK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woot:

Yeah at the comic-con in 06 LL said he approached Marvel to do Iron Man a year back and they told him Favreau got that and then they asked him to do Hulk.
