Logan didn't KILL Rose, she was pushed by a large crowd into his claws when he was fighting Dog. It wasn't his fault, he didn't even know she was there, he thought that she already left on a train with Smitty, and even took a dive in a cage match with Smitty to get them them the money to leave. She RAN back to find Logan to tell him that she loved him. Man do you guys ever get things mixed up. :)

Uhm, I said he killed her. I never said it was intentional murder. I said he killed her. Which he did. As for her loving him--in his mind it was unrequited, so what her intentions were are irrelevant as to how he subconsciously perceives her. Which was how I chose to answer the question. I'm not mixed up. ;) Well, not here anyways. :p

WARREN LOVED HER THE MOST! ;)

No, but seriously, Scott and Jean are soulmates. Always have, always will be. Despite the White Queen.

In Wolverine Origin's it is revealed that Rose is a young woman that he has deep affection for--his first real love. She doesn't feel quite the same about him (see a pattern) and he kills her (see a pattern) and thus for the remainder of his life he has harbored repressed longing for Rose. Who Jean is a carbon copy of. So there you have it in a nutshell.

Reasons aside, I think his love for Jean is still real. Logans "true loves" have been trotted out a few times in the comics, usually by villains to screw him up, and Jean's among them.

Yes, I'm not saying he doesn't love her. I said Scott loves her more. Jean is one one Logan's loves, but is Scott's only. Take a look at the letter page you yourself posted in the comic thread. That should sum it up nicely for you. :p

Emma :p

Yeah...nothing really says "true love" as much as when a man marries a splintered aspect of yourself and has a child with it so he can abandon them both when he hears the other aspects of you are still alive, eventually marries the real you and spends twelve years in the future with you to raise your son, then throws it all away for a few minutes of psychic sex with a peroxide ****e with silicone funbags. Oh, God, yes...how that Scott Summers ever so much loves Jean Grey.

As I haven't read the comics and am going by the movies alone, I will have to say Scott.

I miss Jean... so I'd have to go with Scott -puts hands on his hips-

Thanks.

Scott Summers doesn't know what he's got man, My buddy Logan really loves that girl.:)

:cyclops: :cyclops: :cyclops: Cyclops of course! Scott and Jean have that special telepathic relationship. Her and Logan could never get that. Scott and Jean have been through almost EVERYTHING, and theyve stuck together. Logan could never take Scotts place. Even though hes been going out with a lot of people, its cause he pretends its Jean. If he were to chose etween Jean, Emma, or Maddie, it would be Jean. FOREVER.

You realy don't read alot of Marvel do ya?

I voted for Cyclops, he is cuter, hotter, and he doesn't have a lot of enemies.

People are bringing up Cykes behavior so I think I will address that without even mentioning that it is the writers that are doing this and not Scott himself. Consider the consequences of being in love with someone bonded to the Phoenix. The highs are inconceivable, the lows nightmarish and you never know which one is going to come next or if it is going to exceed one of the previous extremes in some incomprehensible fashion. And people complain because he has relationship problems. He never knows whether she is going to save creation or destroy it and yet he never gives up on her.

To be fair, Scott has been the perfect partner for Jean up until Morrison's run in the X-men. Then he decided to make the guy "more interesting" by having him cheat on Jean.

Bull. It's not Scott, it's the writers? That doesn't work, since they write Scott. What Scott did is what Scott did in canon, and doesn't matter who wrote it.
