Most of these villains are going to be quick cameos

I wonder where they can go after Galactus, Mole Man was an intro villain here and someone like the Wizard or the Red Ghost will be a real lowering of the stakes after Galactus and Doom is the main villain of the Avengers movie so he is unavailable. The only one left is Annihilus, who can be as menacing as Galactus.

You don't need to always go up in scale and such. I'd love for example to see Psycho-Man as a future enemy. We don't need to always top everything all the time. But we also could use other entities. Such as the Living Tribunal

Maybe save this for a third or fourth film because the way things are playing out, but I hope to see an epic Doom/FF film without all the complications of Doomsday/Secret Wars at some point.

And yeah, the stakes don’t need to be the end of the world. Just focus on a solid story.

Sadly, I just don't see us ever getting it. I think Doom is done after Secret Wars

I don't think its that far fetched that they'll try and keep RDJ around as Doom post-Secret Wars. That dude is still their ace in the hole and they can get away with longer gaps in between Doom appearances than they could with Iron Man.

I highly doubt RDJ is sticking around. Dude took the 100 mil payday, and he is gonna be done. I don't have any faith he is sticking around

Though if Disney pulls up with another truck of money in a few years I don't doubt he'd take it again. 😉

Sure, but an Avengers movie they see as a 2 billion dollar contender. I think FF's profile has gone up. But enough to pay RDJ 50 mil alone on a non Avengers movie? I am skeptical

Actually Psycho-Man would be a good choice, he would actually be dangerous enough, his skill at mental manipulation makes him a different from Galactus and people seem like that Malice story.

Why would the Living Tribunal fight the FF, I thought he was a neutral character?

I just think scrubs like Red Ghost or the Wizard don't have the juice to carry a movie, especially after Galactus, heck the comics struggle to justify their existence after 1969. Mole Man became a side quest in this movie, maybe that's all Red Ghost or the Wizard would be good for.

I doubt that will happen, Doom will likely be out after Doomsday.

Yeah, but it would depend on the villain, I think even in the comics, the writers have struggled to justify the existence of guys like Wizard or Red Ghost after 1969. Psycho-Man could be good though.

The Living Tribunal is neutral, but he can still be an antagonist. Have him put Reed on trial or something. You can easily make it work.

Maybe, I think I like the Psycho-Man suggestion better. That or Annihilus.
Annihulus would be good, but I sort of feel like he will be used in a different cosmic movie. Like that Annhilators thing or Nova. Just a gut feeling. Psycho-Man is the guy I have personally keyed in on as the best option for next movie also

My picks would be either the Inhumans or a real version of Super Skrull.

The latter could be very imposing in this new Earth 828 and can right Secret Invasion's wrongs.

Psycho-Man would be cool. With him, they could do a take on Sue becoming Malice.

Not really a traditional FF villain, but I wonder if it would be fun to bring in Miles Teller as the Maker eventually? Having the Reed Richards from the worst FF film come in as a mad villain could be amusing in a meta way.

Edit: Or they could have John Krasinski be the Maker if Teller couldn't pull it off or is too difficult to work with. Not as amusing, but it can still work.

Secret Wars is ending the Multiverse Saga, and that's already a packed movie. Maybe we can make Reed become the Maker via Psycho-Man as Pedro, but I don't see another multiverse version being in the cards

I still buy Krasinski more a Reed than Pascal despite one having barely 5 minutes screen time and the other almost 2 hours. All i see is Pascal whereas Krasinski looks the part and has more screen presence as Reed. Pascal has great screen presence as Mando and in TLOU.

My choice would actually be Ioan Gruffudd. Not only would he work best because he has two reasonably well-known films under his belt as Reed, but I also just feel he’d pull it off better as an actor (though that’s subjective).

BUT, I think one thing we’re being promised (and I, personally, couldn’t be more happy to see it come) is an end to the “Multiverse” after Secret Wars.

And while they could rationalize it within the Secret Wars stories if they want, I think such a story would wear-thin on a multiverse-weary audience.

I have to admit I didn't go with Ioan Gruffudd because I tend to think of the Maker being younger than the regular Reed Richards. Though maybe Ioan Gruffudd could work as an older cynical Maker.
