I certainly hope no one (except for maybe Two-Face in the 3rd film and if Talia is in any of the films, she'll know) should find out the identity of Batman. Joker shouldn't find out either. I really despised the fact that quite a few knew who Batman was (mainly thanks to Alfred) in the previous films. Then they suddenly disappeared, got a new job somewhere else, or got killed. Anyone agree/disagree?

well, personally it's not a problem for me, y'know? but there are some people who didn't like this, anyway...

What is a secret if everybody knows he's Batman in the movies? I can understand Alfred/Fox/Rachel/Ra's since they are close to the Bruce/Batman. I don't want other characters finding out specially villians & love-interests.

When I was reading the comics back in the early 60's as a kid, it was kind of a joke, you could tell in a story, any time a badguy found out Batman's (or Superman's) secret ID, you KNEW they were gonna be dead by the end of the story.

but i don't think many people will know... for sure! wouldn't make sense...

A few other characters knowing doesn't really bug me as much as it does most people, but really, like you said, there really is no one who "should" know except from the usual suspects.

What he said.

Stick to Alfred,Fox and Rachel. Too many people in the know ruins the suspense and fun for me.

Alfred, Ra's Al Ghul, and Rachel will be the only ones who know in the series.

Dick Grayson will if introduced. Lucious Fox will remain ambiguous whether or not he knows, and the same for Harvey Dent and Gordon (ala Year One).

However, if Selena Kyle is introduced there is a chance, and I'd be fine with it, if she discovered who he is.

Alfred
Rachel
Fox
and Bruce himself (if he looses his memory :D)

Leslie Thompkins, who in my view should have taken the role as someone who knew Bruce as a child in BB (minus the love interest of course).

Gordon should suspect it at one point, but then dismiss it.

Yeah, Rachel and Alfred are a given. I think Lucius Fox will work it out by the end.

Villains? I think not knowing actually drives some of the villains onwards. To actually discover Batman's identity. It would be cool to see Joker about to rip Batman's mask off, and see how Bruce manages to dodge the bullet at the last second.

Alfred, Lucius & obviously Rachel.

**** everybody else... What happened to a little thing called privacy...?

Bruce, Alfred, Fox, Rachel and perhaps hints that Gordon MAY know.

The only "villians" that should know are Ra's, Talia Catwoman and of course Rachel after she becomes Harley Quinn ;)

Catwoman isn't going to be in TDK, so **** her...

We can never be 100% sure - and even though she probably will not be in TDK - there is no reason to think she wont be in BB3.

Oh please... the thought of Catwoman being introduced into Nolan's Batman series poisons my veins...

Well, it doesn't... but as you can see, I'm not too keen on the idea.

The only people who should know that he's Batman are the ones needed to cover for him from time to time.

1. Alfred.
2. Fox.
3. Rachael.
4. Nobody else.

No, Joker shouldn't want to know who Batman is. I havne't read Arkham Asylum myself, but someone told me of a very interesting things the Joker says. They capture Batman, and one guy says "Lets take of his mask. I wanna see his real face" to which Joker replies "Oh dont be so predictable for christs sake, that IS his real face". I'd love to see that on film eventually. Joker's obsessed with Batman, not with who Batman really is. It doens't matter to him.

But yeah, no one who doesn't already know should find out. I'm not even sure if Fox knows, but it should stay ambiguous. Talia could know if she's introduced, and Selina Kyle could find out eventually, but other villains and love interests should remain oblivious.

But Catwoman is one of the most important "villians" - outside of Ra's, Joker and Two-Face.

I'm not even going to get started... I've had endless debates about whether Catwoman should appear in Nolan's Batman's...

In short; I don't think she should.
