World who should play supergirl

I was just about to suggest Hayden Panetteire before I clicked on page 4 and saw your post, Majik.
She gets my vote.

Mischa is the best option I've seen from all the listed suggestions. I do hope, though, that they use the older origin story, and none of that 1990s protoplasm crap. As for the city, if she's born on Kanodr, Argo City, wherever; i don't really care so long as she's a full-blooded Kryptonian like Kal-El. The 1984 "Supergirl" film had its faults, but the origin was cool, so doing something similar would be a step up in my book.

If I remember correctly, Kara's parents were named Simon Zor-El and Allura. I also read somewhere that Simon was Jor-El's brother, hence the "cousin" aspect.

Haydens too short. Shes like 5'0. That would look strange next to Routh.

But shes the right age. Supergirl should be played by a female actress under 18.

Okay, as much as I hate to say it. Just saying she sucks as an actress isn't a form of validating your arguement. Second one yes, but the first one is strictly your opinion.

Third, Hollywood does have a tendency to cast older actresses in the part of younger roles. Still does in fact.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean we have to continue it for every single movie.

They arent going to cast someone the same age as Bosworth (who looks way older) as Supergirl.

It will be a teen girl, likely unknown if anything.

Oddly enough, I strangely agree with those odds, but I always like putting in my old favorite...okay, not that old, but anyway.

If they do go the unknown route, I expect at least the supporting characters to be at least known to the industry in some form. Much like Peter O' Toole was in the Salkind production.
