Osborn has made a lot of enemies during Dark Reign - so who do you want to finally bring him down when the event comes to its end? Here are some possible candidates:

Spider-Man for obvious reasons
Nick Fury to reassert S.H.I.E.L.D. and make his true return to the Marvel Universe
Captain America (Steve) to make a grand return of his own
Captain America (Bucky) because he's got to prove himself as Cap by bringing in a big bad
Iron Man to get revenge for everything Osborn has done to him and everything he worked so hard to build
Thor because, like Fury and Steve, he hasn't really torn his way back into prominence yet
Loki, Doom, or another member of the Cabal because everyone in the "Illuminaughty" seems to have their own agenda

Who do you think?

Spider-Man. At the end of the day, when everything's said and done, it's always going to come down to Parker and Osborn. Just about everything involving them does.

Rocket Raccoon.

The team of Dr. Doom and Rocket Raccoon. Maybe it'll help Doom become more than the **** role he seems to have become in Bendis MU, and a team-up between him and Rocket would be classic material in the making

I'm really worried its going to be Steve Rogers now that there hyping out on his return, it just seems so cliché to have the ultimate american hero take down the man who "raped" the american dream, why can't it be a newer hero like Bucky? :(

PS. I like the ideas of Daken helping to take down Osborn, since he seems to have his own motives as seen in his own comic title. I'd love to see Iron Man defeat Iron Patriot, since that fight was hinted at. ^^ In all honest i just wanna see Norman getting defeated in a very awesome way, hope they can deliver it! <3

Spidey with Tony Stark showing up to kick his dead body.

I mean it ..OSBORN needs to die and be gone for 15 years. Im so tired of him.

I was just thinking in one of those threads where they're saying that Spidey never "does" anything in the Avengers, that they're kind of right. I mean, I like him being there, and to say he hasn't done "anything" is an exaggeration. But he hasn't had a big Avengers moment. I would love for him to have his big, Avengers moment taking down Norman. Just like Hank throwing down with Ultron.

Norman Osborn has been pulling the wool over everyones eyes big time since the Thunderbolts (Warren Ellis/Deodato run) and the ONLY hero in the community that makes him sway his sanity and that grip he has is the one, the only...Spider-Man.

Peter is really one of the only characters in the Marvel Universe, besides Harry Osborn, that knows how truly sadistic, wicked, and evil Norman Osborn really is. I wouldn't say Spider-Man would "take him down". Though Spider-Man is the catalyst that will make Osborn finally snap and show his true colors to the nation.

I went with Doom and Loki. By reading Thor you see they're working together. I also really liked Dr. Doom's story in the Cabal One Shot. So I'd like to see Doom do it. That probably won't be what happens tho, and I'm fine with that.

Tony, then Steve, then Fury. I think Spidey deserves to take him down the least actually. Hawkeye was right this week: This would never be happening if Spidey had dealt w/ him properly in the 5000000 times they fought.

Didn't Doom and Namor make a deal to wait Osborn out, and wait for him to collapse? And then, at that point, the two would begin their plans to conquer the land and seas, respectively? I could see something about that coming out near the end.

I voted for Spidey but I personally want to see Spidey and Iron Man team up to take down Osborn.

A team of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, and Hawkeye should be the ones to take him down, but I want Dr. Doom, Loki, and Namor to be the ones to do it and teach the heroes the lesson that their divisions have allowed saner and more dangerous villains to take over the world as a result.

I said it before and I'll say it again...

The real Avengers, or at least maybe both half-assed Avengers, will expose Norman at his height, causing the **** to hit the fan. There'll be some huge battle involving the Dark Avengers and everything will get more chaotic. Throw in the Cabal's involvement, we're walking, we're walking, then Norman's empire goes down, we're walking, we're walking, as a last ditch effort, Norman completely loses it, goes ape **** on his own, and Spider-Man takes him out.

Some Avenger team opens the can of worms
The Cabal backs out/screws over Osborn
Osborn loses control over everything he has and becomes hated/hunted
Osborn tries one last ace-up-his-sleeve and Spidey stops him.

Tony, then Steve, then Fury. I think Spidey deserves to take him down the least actually. Hawkeye was right this week: This would never be happening if Spidey had dealt w/ him properly in the 5000000 times they fought.

Easy for Clint to say, considering he's had the Avengers carrying his ass for 45 years. At least SPidey HAS an arch-enemy. :yay:

Just someone completely out of left field.....Like the Irredeemable Ant-Man, or USAgent......or Howard the Duck

Edit - those were random choices but after posting I noticed they were all featured in Choosing Sides

The Namor/Doom combo. Two of Marvel's best characters that deserve to kick the crap out of the Green Goblin.

I say Nick Fury/Iron Man Combo.... Both Former S.H.I.E.L.D Directors Taking out Hammer.

Since Osborn completely loses his **** the moment he sees red, blue and web, Spidey should just casually mess with him, like he used to do to JJJ. Send him pizza he didn't order, leave dirty messages in webbing across the street, childish stuff like that. Osborn will have the tights on throwing pumpkin bombs around and cackling like a lunatic for the cameras after a stressful monday.

I think a Spidey, Tony combo should take him out. Tony should disable all his reissued repainted Iorn-Man armor but Spidey should take him down when he dawns the goblin gear again...

Osborn <--> Steve Rogers, no connection whatsoever.

Steve Rogers should save his energy to take down Red Skull & Dr. Doom.
