Sequels Who should the villain be?

Spider-Man has a vast and iconic rogues gallery, and cinematically, we've merely scratched the surface. Would you rather see an iconic foe such as Green Goblin or Doc Ock return to the silver screen, or do you want to see a brand new villain, such as Kraven or Scorpion, make his cinematic debut?

Background antagonist: Norman Osborn as corporate villain
Thugs: Shocker returning as recurring bad guy

And while I've never been a big fan of her, I wouldn't mind seeing Black Cat finally get her chance on the big screen. The MCU is in dire need of more playful, funny female characters.

Gah, I can only pick one.

• Chameleon because I'd love a mystery-esque Spider-Man film but the fact that they skipped him in Homecoming is telling (unless that's who LMG is)
  
• Mysterio but only as he should be so he probably wouldn't be able to hold a film.
  
• Scorpion because he's great and it'd be a nice leadway for the Bugle (although Chameleon would serve that leadway too).
  
• Kraven because I love Kraven and he has the most potential to me from a narrative perspective.
  
• Gobby needs a looooong break and Ock works better as the main baddie for the third film (debut Otto in this film).
  
• Venom is only happening if Infinity War sees Spider-Man get the black suit somehow (or if it's a science-esque route again).
  
• Lizard is still fairly recent and I think would work better with an older Spider-Man (so, college).
  
• Electro is recent along with Rhino.
  
• Sandman would be cool but not as a main baddie.
  
• Black Cat should definitely not be a main villain or even much of a villain to begin with.
  
• I like Hobgoblin but they need to just chill with Goblins.
  
• Carnage can't be done without Venom and is probably better saved for the Venom film.
  
• Kingpin is Netflix.
  
• Morbius is great but I'd wait to have him on the big screen (college).
  
• Jackal means Clone Saga and I'm not sure people wanna touch that (besides, a lot of work needs to be done for that. However, they do have a "Ms. Warren" character in Homecoming..).

Others could include:

Morlun
Smythe and the Spider-Slayer(s)
Hammerhead
Hydro-Man
Silver Sable
Silvermane
Tombstone
Spot
Big Wheel
White Rabbit
Jack-O-Lantern
and countless others.

In conclusion, I think my favorite is gonna be Kraven.

I'm torn between having Doc Ock back or a Rhino / Sandman team up. I simply can't choose.

I'd say Goblin if we'd had Norman in Homecoming.

I'd like to see one of the bazillion unused villains be utilized before we see yet ANOTHER Green Goblin, or even Ock for that matter. Molina's portrayal was so perfect that it will be difficult to see anyone else in the role. Scorpion is a must, as are Kraven & Mysterio. I'd love to see Sandman make a return, honestly. If Pete gets the symbiote suit in IW, then make Kraven the villain! We could have a spot-on adaption of Kraven's last hunt.

Venom would be the logical choice in my view, if Peter Parker's still trying to prove he doesn't need Tony Stark after Spider-Man: Homecoming. He could take the Symbiote suite to further distance himself from Stark's suit.

Yeah, they shouldn't have Spider-Man go dark until we have seen him as a hero for a good while (like one or two movies) IMO. Having him bond with the symbiote early wouldn't have the same impact if they did not establish Spider-Man first IMO.

I'd say for the posters you want Hobgoblin.

But in the background for the main villain it'd be Kingpin I'd have Norman Osborn & Hobgoblin working for King Pin. King Pin hire's Hobgoblin & maybe a few others to distract Spider-man from a larger issue. This opens up so much of the universe, & could setup a Norman Green Goblin later.

I think it'd be really cool to see a Scorpion vs Spidey fight in the snow, something we really haven't seen yet. Spider-Man in the snow.
