To each his own, I thought the fight scenes in BB were brilliant. A real sense of urgency and fear.
Agreed.

Absolutely. I love the music used in that scene, too. Really added to the tension.
Maybe the only one aspect that BB got better than TDK is the incluson of a recognizable Batman theme.

Batman was more Batman in Begins then Dark Knight.
I'd agree with that.
But that is the ONLY area it trumps TDK in.
How was he less Batman in TDK btw?
Absolutely.
He did not do his ninja stuff like he Begins. And show off his real martial arts abilities.
In order to show off you need to show. Which doesn't equal endless shaky blurness.
Okay but it showed suspense in the shakyness which Batman does he causes fear to his criminals.
Yerah, like BB script didn't state that 150 times before Batman even appeared.
I'm sure why TDK fights are better and that's because there are some actual effort in showing them. BB figts look cheap, like they didn't have much idea of how to do them or time to do them so they chose not to show much and left the blurriness to do the rest.

Yeah, the word "fear" was used a ton, but I rather have that, then sporadic pacing.LOL! Yeah, the word fear was ridiculously overused in Begins.

I'm not talking about boredom. I wasn't really bored in either movie, but the pacing was a bit obnoxious, to say the least. The pacing would have been fine if the movie was 30 minutes longer and had actually used the scenes they had, or the film could have been split into two movies. That's one reason why most of you guys can't see the faults in TDK. School bus crashes through bank, and goes perfectly in line with other buses. Oh wait, what? Doesn't matter, NEXT scene, next scene, next scene. Wait, 5 dead? Doesn't matter, next scene, next scene, next scene. Wait, how did The Joker just do that? Doesn't matter, next scene, next scene, next scene, credits. The pacing was just fine. I was never bored once.

Sure, the word "fear" was a bit obnoxious as well, but the pacing in TDK was just as bad, if not worse. And I'm still confused by how some of you guys allude to the fact that TDK is a "smart" movie. What's so intellectual about it?

I was actually going to use the word "plot holes", but then I knew you would use the word "nitpicking", but either way, I can see you're totally offended by my post. I was looking for the right term to use, without causing a blow up, but can see I failed. Can't see the faults? Could you be a little more ignorant?
How do you know most people didn't have a problem with the pacing of the movie? And your faults with the word "fear" are your opinion. You had a problem with that word, most didn't. See how that works?Your faults with the movie are you opinions. You had a problem with the pacing, most didn't. That's not saying we can't see any faults. It's that it's not a fault for us.
See, you just put words in my mouth. I said, out of the two movies, I liked Begins more, because it felt more intimidating, as apposed to how slow the fight scenes were in TDK. To tell you the truth, I'm not to much of a fan of the fight scenes for both movies, but I was just judging according to the comparisons of both films. So to tell me that I like "blurry fight scenes" would be a bit ignorant on your behalf, seeing as how those words never came out of my mouth. You like the blurry fight sequences in Begins. You don't see them as a fault. We do. See the difference?
I'm glad you can look over those things, hell, so can I, as I was just giving off an example. That's not the very reason why I hated the pacing, but just a side note/observation I came up with. It's funny, cause hearing the word "fear" was a bit annoying, but it didn't deteriorate my entire enjoyment of the movie, but at least I can admit the faults.None of that mattered. Not one single iota of it. I don't care how Joker arranged those school buses or anything like that. Minute lttie things that don't mean diddly squat in the grand scheme of the movie.
